I had the following team setup in mind for the current VGC09 style tournament. For clarification, this is a double battle metagame with 4 Pokemon per team.
Snover lv1
Smeargle
- Pursuit
- Follow Me
- Dark Void
- Encore
Walrein
- Substitute
- Protect
- Blizzard
- Surf
Uxie
- Role Play
- Substitute
- Protect
- Psychic or whatever
1) Switch out Snover for Walrein on turn 1, but have Smeargle use Pusuit on the switch to KO Snover and start glitch hail.
2) Have Uxie copy Walrein's Ice Body via Role Play.
3) Spend the rest of the match Sub+Protecting when possible, healing 25% HP per turn from weather while the opponent gets pelted for 25% damage.
I've never seen a team specifically built around glitch weather and wanted to try it out.
But it turns out that Pursuit can't target a teammate for the switch, so it's impossible to guarantee the setup. Oh well.
