For me Dragonite is better than Salamence..Well, it's actually simple, Dragonite is a lot bulky though Salamence is faster and has more Offensive power...But the only thing that Salamence does better than Dragonite is the Offensive one, while Dragonite does many things better, like Support, Defensive..Also, Dragonite has better type coverage...

Dragonite is a very good anti-lead now with his gaining of Extreme Speed. Now it totaly kicks Mence's ass!

Dragonite is now better than salamence at dragon dance as 'Nite now has extremespeed, meaning he won't be owned by priority users (if they don't resist or aren't immune to extremespeed, that is)

I think that without extremespeed nite still pwns mence. max def and hp bulky d'nite can take a max atk mence's dragon claw and then OHKO with outrage or dragon claw =)

GameFreak is so dedicated to Mence, and making it better than Nite, I bet in 5th Generation they give Mence ExtremeSpeed as well.

Nite has always been superior to Mence in my opinion!

I bet that in the 5th Generation Dragonite will be a lot better than Salamence. The only thing that Salamence can do better than Dragonite is the Offensive Dragon Dance set. Having more Speed and lol! only 1 Point higher on Attack which isn't a big difference. People just overlook Dragonite.

i use dragonite in my team instead of mence not because i prefer nite,but because his movepool is 10X better,he got the bulkness to take multiple hits,barring speed he really dont got any less offensive power then mence,even with a negative defense nature,nite still got more bulk then mence in *insert the lowered defensive stat* and he only has a revenge killer,stall breaker,mixed sweeper,bulk sweeper all at once! i want to see mence do that!

Yeah, Just because of Salamence's speed.
