Nasty Plot...

THE move for any special sweeper. It boosts Sp. Atk by 2 stages, increasing powerful to terrifying. Here is who I think should get it:

Gengar: The big one. It would be so awesome, and Gengar practically screams 'I plot nasty things'.

Mewtwo: This thing is pretty smart and evil. Plus, it has a base Sp. Atk of 154. Done.

Deoxys: See Mewtwo.

Banette: See Deoxys.

Starmie: Perhaps not very realistic, but it would be so helpful...

Gengar - NP Gengar is actually amazingly probably not broken, yet amazing
Starmie - See Gengar (although it might be slightly more broken)
Mewtwo - Well, think of CM Mewtwo on steroids.
Deoxys-A- You KO Blissey with Psycho Break after a NP.
Banette - Not much use here, but aesthetically its perfect.

And NP Gengar is actually-amazingly broken once Aura Sphere is given to it...
Gengar throws up a Sub, NPs, and sweeps perfect accuracy+coverage

Really reconsider this NP talk now; we can do it later when we have moves that'll stop it.

I don't think that Gengar should get Aura Sphere. Besides, there was a Tail Glow discussion...and in Gen V NP is an inferior Tail Glow. Besides,we can always take it off broken Pokemon. And Gengar needs some love ;)

Agreed. Plus, NP+Aura Sphere Gengar is nowhere as broken as Tail Glow Raikou.

Maybe you could make Aura Sphere and NP illegal together through egg moves.

That is one of the best ideas I have heard in a while.

Giving Gengar Nasty Plot would be the equivilent of giving it to Alakazam.

Gengar outspeeds most of the metagame, and has 3 resistances to switch in on. From there, it can set up a sub on the switch, Nasty Plot, and destroy anything lacking priority.

Shadow Ball + Aura Sphere / Focus Blast at +2 will decimate basically anything in OU.

More or less the only checks will be Scizor and Metagross, and those two can be handled by a Magnezone, which then allows Gengar to come back in, and wreck havok once more.

I'm voting no Nasty Plot Gengar... it'll probobly break it, in all honesty.
