Obviously Ambipom is amazing in UU, much better than that shit Escavalier who sucks because it is slow and weak to fire. I seriously enjoyed that TLC log, but in all seriousness yes Ambipom is pretty bad in UU and would probably only be decent in NU once Cinccino is gone.

Speaking of Cinccino family, if you want to troll LC ladder on Showdown all you have to do is use DW Minccino. There is a multihit hit on that makes Tail Slap do 2 more damage per hit on average. That doesn't sound like much, but when you have level 5 Pokemon it makes a HUGE difference. It OHKOes HIPPOPOTAS (from what I hear Iss say at least)

With Mienshao now in UU and Ghosts being popular in RU, this thing is likely to be NU in 6 months.

The problems with Ambipom are its predictability, its fraility, its coverage and its complete weakness to status and Fighting-type moves. If you thought Cobalion and Hitmontop made Ambipom scream, it will hate Mienshao, who will completely maim Ampibom, and Scrafty, who will use Ambipom as set-up fodder. It will then get dropped down to RU, where Cofagrigus and Dusknoir will wall it cold and Aggron will both wall and DESTROY it. It'll probably go to NU, where it will be a legitimate threat, once people finally vote Cinccino into RU, but before then Ambipom will be outclassed.
