A mixed sweeper or a suicide lead?

Not to be overly critical, but why are we bold voting on where to take Syclants "concept," if you will when it seems the most relevant question in the thread is whether we should include addressing other CAPs in our review process.

Never mind I don't even see "suicide lead" coming out of Syclant when the only possible application from the suggested moves is lay 1 layer of spikes and pray Syclant isn't type-trumped, since it doesn't have anything like Explosion, Destiny Bond, Memento, etc.

With that said, mixed sweeper.

I defended the inclusion of Spikes a lot as you probably know, but if I have to choose, I support Mixed Sweeper. It may seem a bit strange, but if you were to create Infernape, Metagross or Swampert and you would have to choose to focus on either Sweeper (Wall in Swampert's case) or Lead, what would you prefer?

I can't honestly see Syclant as being anything but what it was designed originally to be. That's not to say that it can't be a good suicide lead in any case, but generally one of these builds always seems to begat the other. Mixed sweeper.

I don't care for "mixed" at all, but I suppose it would be the thing to differentiate Syclant and make it usable. And I've always thought making a "good lead" is really pointless.

Actually my vote would be "sweeper with Spikes". That's hardly a stretch to both, right? Unfortunately we have to choose apparently, so whatever.

I don't really see how giving Syclant more (any) support moves detracts from its ability to sweep. It will still perform better as a boosting sweeper, but limiting it to that role makes it easier to counter. CAP doesn't usually strictly adhere to the concept at the expense of other options. However, I do realize that this is a revision and not a full revamp, so I'll vote Mixed Sweeper, as that is its most viable and dangerous role with the vague hope that maybe at least Spikes will make it to a vote.

mixed sweeper. Special sweeper imo is what it does best sweepwise, but tbh i don't care. I'm not fucking seeing syclant as a suicide lead, nor would I want to lol

As much as I want this to be a lead, all it needs is Spikes. It would be better to focus it as a mixed sweeper and just add that one move.

Mized sweeper syclant has better things to do than losing to metagross+only setting up 1 layer of spikes.

Mixed sweeper is the way to go. Syclant has the typing and stats to be a very scary offensive threat, so I think we should be focusing on that aspect.
