*Crack!*
"Ah!"
"Are you okay? Arg, the sample is too unstable! Shut it down!"
"I'm trying! I keep pulling the kill switch but the system's frozen!"
"But if this keeps up, the power could leak out into..."
*Boom!*
"We're all gonna die! Oh god, I don't want to die!"
"Shush! We are not all going die. All we have to do...is go in there and yank the specimen out of the machine."
"But that would kill whoever did it!"
"Well, I did say not all of us would die. Someone is going to have to brave. It's either one of us, or the whole complex."
"But there are students from the university in facility still! And all the workers too..."
"Exactly. That's why...I'm going in there."
"What? No! You can't!"
"I can, and I will. I don't have any family really, all of you have spouses and children. It's okay-"
*BOOOM!*
"-I can't waste anymore time." The scientist ran to the sealed door that separated them from the tempest of energy swirling before them. "Remember me, 'kay?" She opened the door with her pass card and ran inside. The door immediately shut.
With tears in her eyes, she ran to the center console. She took a breath, muttered a few words that were lost in roar of power, and she grasped the tube containing the energy sample. It burned her hands instantly, but she did not let go. She ripped the tube from the machine and the shut her eyes as the energy storm exploded.

A group of students from Nimestic University huddled a small room. They had no idea what the room was used for, but the ceiling in the break room had become unstable. They ran in here because the room was more secure, but now it was growing warm. How they'd had been overlooked in the evacuation is unknown, but the doors to the outside automatically locked in cases of emergency, such as this.
As an explosion sounded, electrical devices in the walls shorted out. The group crowded into a corner, knowing fully that it would not save them from the building's explosion or some other catastrophe that was going on.
The walls became too hot to touch and the group backed a way a bit. Some of the members cried. Others hugged the person next to them, regardless of who that person may be. The remaining students either looked around for something to save them or simply stayed quiet and awaited what was coming.
A final explosion shook the room and a visible electrical current ran through tubes and wires. Then, the room lit up until the group couldn't keep their eyes open anymore. The energy was zapped out of them, they felt a rushing sensation, and everything went black.

The steady trickling sound of a small stream accompanied by the smell of green grass met the group of young Pokemon. The sun glared in their eyes as they came out of their unconsciousness.
This is the story of a group of ordinary people, relearning what it means to be a human through the eyes of a Pokemon.
