Heracross has been looked down upon and almost forgotten, mainly because it doesn't seem to be able to muster the power or have the abilities of many other pokemon in OU e.g. Metagross. Here is a place where you can discuss about how Heracross can set itself apart from the giants of OU and shine in its own way. Movesets are also very welcome here as well. No swearing. :)

I used a jolly Heracross with a choice scarf for a long time.
I was amazed at how many Pokemon it could outspeed and destroy. I loved using the jolly nature-it's really fun if you keep a score of how many scarfed heatran you OHKO.
I'm sure Heracross will pick up in use sometime, let's just hope it's soon

Well, I wasn't impressed with scarves damage or bands unability to switch, so I used swords dance burn orb. It destroyed core members of stall, but most good stall and offensive team have something that can outspeed and KO with fire. Then I came up with the ultimate set that can destroy stall and will take down at least 1 crucial offensive pokemon, and makes a great lure. Adamant, (more power) sub with burn orb. (may not be original, but id never seen it and it rocked). It may be suicidal, but it hit like a truck. I ran megahorn, facade, and close combat. Who cares about ghosts? Megahorn 2hkos easy, and only choice scarf rotom beat you, but thats easy to work around. discuss
Woh, i just tried the reversal cross. All I did was stick rain dance over EQ on my brongzong and used subgar to lure in scarftran, t-tar, and sczizor. It was EPIC!

Same as myself Uberific. Recently bred my new Adamant natured Heracross and threw all the EV's into Speed and Attack and then passed a Flame Orb to him. Same set as yourself. Main advantage I see with Swords Dance and the Orb is it's just one turn to boost your attack and activate guts. Even better if you activate both Screens with a lead cause he doesn't take too much damage on the set-up!
