Ah, Gen 3. The place I go to remind myself why I love breeding in the later Gens so much better. Also, the place I go when I get jealous of all the flawless Seismic Toss Chansey's out there that I will never be able to trade for because I rarely hatch near-flawless pokemon worth trading here on Smogon.

This is a place to post ideas for things to breed in Gen 3 (FR/LG/R/S/E). I can never decide what I want to breed, and I'm sure there are some people who are just overflowing with ideas!

The projects I have planned so far are (courtesy of the SQSA thread ^_^):
Chansey with Seismic Toss / Aromatherapy / Counter (This was my original plan before I asked around for other ideas)
Qwilfish with Swords Dance
Beldum with Dynamic Punch (I'll have to evolve him to do that I believe)
Togepi with Body Slam / Softboiled

Now I just have to decide on all the possible natures / abilities I could possibly want on there =)

So if you were breeding in Gen 3, what would you do?

Well, if you're planning on breeding a Chansey with perfect HP or Def, don't use Emerald because of the way stats pass down in that one. Although, Flame Body/Magma Armor don't work in the other gen 3 games, and Chansey takes ridiculous time to hatch, so idk.

I was going to breed in Fire Red or Leaf Green. No matter what, it will be painful compared to breeding in White. But that's ok, it's the sort of thing I can put aside when I get bored and get back to the easy stuff :P

You should go for a Double-Edge Magic Guard Clefable! Although you'd have to hatch it in gen 4 for it to get Magic Guard. Also put on Belly drum xD

Haha lol, I never know what to breed either... I might start breeding again in Gen III tho ;)
