I am a bit new to rnging and haven't actually done any yet, but I think I understand the basic concept of it, I just don't know how to find my secret ID (and don't have any shinies I have captured to help me figure it out). Suggestions?

You should use Pokecheck to find your SID.

I seem to be having a small problem with the RNG reporter. Whenever I attempt to generate my seed for B/W on the timefinder, the page switches to the 3rd generation Shiny hatching, has my ID number highlighted, and says "This feature is not working yet." Any suggestions?

Well, it seems like it thinks I'm missing something, but I entered all the data it asked for. I believe it thinks my ID # is incorrect (which it isn't). I entered the parent iv's, everstone nature, nature I want, shiny egg, dw abillity only, my DS mac address, my ID, and my SID. Am I missing anything? And it automatically switches to the 3rd gen shiny egg tab whenever I try to generate a seed, with my trainer ID highlighted, and "This feature is not working yet" in red letters on the 3rd generation shiny egg screen. That's about as specific as I can get.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the RNG Reporter, which is 9.92. I read about the same problem in the main RNG thread, can't remember which version that was about though, and the search function on this forum does not seem to work as it should.

I was actually using that version of it, and the only reason I can see that it shouldn't be working is my ID # being wrong, which it isn't.

Btw, where is the main rng thread? I would like to research my problem a bit.
