This issue has been deemed important enough for a vote. Some users have been calling for a stricter enforcement of the immediate spawn area. This would mean that the area visible from the current spawn building will be reserved for resources that would be beneficial to all users.

Now one of our goals with the unfortunate deletion of our last map we wanted an organic spawn, but there are some concerns this is not happening.

Now for all users we will have a small vote, which will end on January 25th. You may vote in bold for:

A)Stricter immediate spawn enforcement
B) As is.

Stricter spawn enforcement would result in some cleanup by mods and/or people who have been shown to be invested in spawn development in the past. An informal permission system such as "hey guys could I built [random public facility] at spawn right here?". Ideally it would be a sort of in between the chaos of lsb's spawn at times and the strict order of the last spawn.

My opinion is that for new users spawn is the first thing they see and should be a protective and nice place for them. Users should enjoy being around spawn.

Honestly I don't care too much at this moment because I'm never around spawn really anyway, but I agree it looks pretty terrible. LSB, while not planned out, had everything a person could want and looked pretty also!

I guess A for a better lack of option, I like the face buildings, but they're just too close to spawn to be appreciable, I don't like them being the first things I see when I exit the main building.

Also agreeing bumblebees are evil, I didn't mind at first but it is a tad bit of an eyesore considering (as far as I know, never looked in there) it seems to serve no purpose other than just being there. I mean if there's a practical purpose to it to need to be that tall (like a monster mat/exp grinder) that's fine, but if not...meh.

A Although I think perhaps the user should be given some sort of warning before having his creation just ripped apart so that atleast they can salvage the materials and what not.

EDIT: I don't really care for the term "enforcement". I think we should let whoever wants to build whatever facility he or she wants at spawn, provided it's okay by the mods, and it can be built in any style the builder wants. Provided it doesn't look ugly as sin. Apologies if I'm derping and this is what OP meant.

Also let's cover up the goddamn ravine.

Alltho as long as people put time and effort into it , doing the best they can this should not be 'punished'.
