Neo the Porygon
Tyranitarphantom; take a Porygon named Neo.
“What are Pokémon?” Neo has been questioning that his entire life. One day he's contacted by an underground hacker named Lucian. Lucian claims he can show Neo the truth, but he will have to make a choice: Will you take the blue pill and scramble like a Normal pokemon, or will you take the red pill and learn the horrific truth?
Take the blue pill
All Neo remembers is joining your scramble team. He has no memory of the matrix and as a result he can't use his hacking skills to learn support moves. The only non-attacking move he can use is Recover. Meanwhile, he tries to be a proper pokemon by soloing a gymtrainer in every gym.
But Lucian and Trinity aren't done with Neo. When Porygon solo's Candice (hacker alias: Trinity) he's struck by deja-vu and starts remembering parts of his history. When you complete the solo he can evolve to Porygon 2.
Slowly, he puzzles the pieces together and encounters Lucian for the second time. Determined to find out what he forgot he solo's Lucian to get the answers. Afterwards he's presented with a second choice: Will you become “the one” and solo Cynthia's Garchomp? Or will you forget the truth and solo Cynthia's Spiritomb? If you fail either one of these solo's you must delete Neo's most powerful attack and replace it with Frustration.
- No support moves except Recover
- Solo one gymtrainer per gym
- Solo Candice to evolve to Porygon 2 (never to Z!)
- Solo Lucian (or Aaron)
- Solo Cynthia's Spiritomb/Garchomp
Take the red pill
Lucian reveals the truth: Neo wakes up in the distortion world and sees pokemon broken down to Natures, IV's and random numbers. Plugged in his Porygon avatar he joins your scramble team. But his connection leaves him dependant on a healthy status; whenever Neo is asleep or frozen, he can't switch or cure status until he wakes up.
Lucian learns Neo to hack boosts to raise his stats. Keep one support move on him at all times to demonstrate his controll over the matrix; this can never be Recover. Also learn him one Conversion move at the move relearner and use it succesfully in 5 major battles before replacing it.
Back in the pokemon world he has attracted the attention of the agents: Solo as much Galactic Commanders as possible. But in the other world the phantoms are challenging Neo too: Before he can become “the one” he must face Giratina alone in combat. Neo may now evolve directly to Porygon Z.
But the battle is far from over: Agent Smith has developed his own special powers and challenges you to a final duel. Solo the rival before the pokemon league to complete the challange.
- Must know one support move, but can never learn Recover.
- Learn one conversion move, can forget after use in 5 major battles.
- Can't cure status or switch while asleep or frozen.
- Solo each Galactic Commander once.
- Solo Giratina to evolve directly to Porygon Z (don't use P2!)
- Solo the rival (name him 'Smith') at the league.
- Optional: Solo Candice to show off your skill.
Alchemist the Bellsprout
Axmaster, take Alchemist the Bellsprout. Alchemist has toiled long and hard at alchemy and has discovered the hallowed secret of potions with permanent duration! Using this ability, he can use potions to upgrade his abilities permanently at will, assuming he has the ingredients for it. Unfortunately this required putting ALL his skill points in his Alchemy skill, which means those potions of his are the ONLY way he can upgrade his skills. This means that anything that is an effect of a potion he can make can ONLY be acquired by means of that potion.
As such, your use and growth of Alchemist revolves around collecting ingredients. You collect ingredients by completing various tasks. Each ingredient has a set of 4 effects. You make a potion by combining ingredients that shat share effects, and can combine up to 3 ingredients into one potion. Only the effects that are shared by at least two of the ingredients will show up in the potion. A potion can have multiple effects, but if the potion is taken and one of the effects is not used, that effect is lost. Each ingredient can only be used in one potion; after that, it is gone forever. Ingredients can only be mixed into potions at Pokemon Centers, so you need to make them BEFORE you need them.
The varieties of potions you can create and the restrictions associated with them are as follows.
Potion effects
Potion of Basic Evolution (First stage evolution can only be achieved with the use of this potion)
Potion of Advanced Evolution (Second stage evolution can only be achieved with the use of this potion)
Potion of Hidden Ability (HMs can only be taught with the use of this potion)
Potion of Technical Prowess (TMs can only be taught with the use of this move)
Potion of Affinity (STAB moves can only be learned with the use of this potion. Must be used in conjunction with a potion of Technical Prowess to learn STAB moves from TMs)
Potion of Assault (Level up attacking moves require this potion to be learned)
Poison of Affliction (Status inducing moves require this potion to be learned. TM moves that inflict status require this and a Potion of Technical Prowess as well)
Potion of Fortification (Boosting moves require this potion to be learned, TM moves of this type require a Potion of Technical Prowess as well)
Potion of Healing (Must be used to use a healing item in battle)
Potion of Boosting (Must be used to use an in-battle effect item [ie x-items, guard spec. etc.)
Potion of Revival (Required to use a revive on ANY teammate.)
The ingredients and their effects are listed here, as well as the method of obtaining them. Any time you complete a task that would allow you to obtain more than one ingredient, you must choose only ONE ingredient to add to your stockpile for that instance. (For example, if you solo a gym trainer you can choose either a Bear Claw or Lavender, not both). Any "solo" requirements mean solo with Alchemist, unless stated otherwise.
Ingredient List
Bear Claw - Solo any trainer (Healing, Boosting, Affliction, Assault)
Lavender - Solo any Gym trainer (Fortification, Affinity, Assault, Revival)
Tundra Cotton - Solo an entire route (Technical, Affinity, Hidden, Affliction)
Mountain Flower - Solo a Pokemon you have a weakness to (Hidden, Revival, Healing, Boosting)
Glow Dust - Solo a Gym Leader (Basic evolution, Advanced evolution, Hidden, Technical)
Ectoplasm - Solo a GLP (Revival, healing, Affinity, Technical)
Hawk Feathers - Solo your rival (Basic evolution, Technical, Affinity, Boosting)
Slaughterfish Scales - Solo a Rocket Admin (Advanced evolution, Revival, Assault, Affinity)
Mammoth Tusk - Complete a route without using a Pokemon Center (whole team challenge) (Basic evolution, Affinity, Fortification, Technical)
Wisp Wrappings - Capture a legendary (whole team challenge) (Advanced evolution, Technical, Affinity, Revival)
Daedra Heart - Solo an Elite Four member (Revival, Fortification, Technical, Affliction)
Nirnroot - Add a new entry to your Pokedex through capture (whole team challenge) (Healing, Boosting, Revival, Fortification)
Now for some examples to make this a little bit easier to understand. So let's say I beat a trainer on one route with Alchemist, solo'd a gym trainer, completed the route without a Pokemon center and solo'd my rival. From this I'd get a mammoth tusk for certain. I'd have at least one Bear Claw from the normal trainer, but I could have as many as three, since I could have opted to take a bear claw instead of the other ingredient when I solo'd the gym trainer and my rival. However, if I did that I would have lost out on the Lavender and Hawk Feathers. For the sake of this example, let's say I took the lavender and hawk feathers instead of the bear claws. I can now mix potions with these ingredients.
Lets say I mix the bear claw with the lavender now. I'd get a Potion of Assault, since those are the only two effects those ingredients share. I can use this potion any time to teach Alchemist a level up, non-stab attacking move (Wrap for instance). Now let's say I mix the bear claw, lavender AND the mammoth tusk, all into one potion. I'd now get a potion of Fortification, Affinity AND Assault, since each of those effects occurs at least twice among those ingredients. I can also use this potion to teach him a move at any time. However, each potion can only be used for one move teaching session. So if I used it to teach an affinity move (acid lets say) at 23, I would not be able to teach it knock off four levels later using the same potion; I'd need another one. However, if I were to teach it Acid, and then use a TM potion to teach it say, Sword dance (fortification) immediately after the battle finished, that would work. Basically, one potion = one session of applying effects. Any effects not used in that session will be lost and you'll need another potion to apply them later. When it comes to in-battle items, each potion only lasts one turn. So if you have a potion of boosting and healing, you would only be able to use it to do one or the other, not both, unless you're in a double battle and can use two items in a turn. If a potion with an evolutionary effect is used to evolve Alchemist, all other effects are automatically lost (you cannot evolve and teach a move from the same potion).
If this needs any further clarification, just ask me. I know it's a bit confusing, but if you've actually played skyrim it'll make a lot more sense. Just give me a holler if things are confusing.
And for you tl;dr people... there IS no summary for this. Basically, Alchemist is a Bellsprout who must make potions to learn moves and use in-battle items and evolve. He makes potions by collecting ingredients from completing challenges, then mixing them at a Pokemon Center. He uses these potions when the need arises. Want more detail? Read the whole post dangit.
So, I'm thinking this qualifies for "Maximum creativity" eh? I don't think anyone has ever done anything quite like this before.
Styla the Luxray
Ranger, take Styla the Luxray.
Styla (name being a corruption of Styler, as in Capture Styler) shall be treated as a Pokemon Ranger, therefore her challenge is quite weird. She must call for help instead of attacking herself, and since she can't learn Assist, she's taken a different method. Catch any Pokemon you find, but you can only use Styla to catch it. You may heal it, use items on it, whatever, after it is caught. However, it must be kept in your Party (so drop any Pokemon, probably Styla herself), and then can use one attack it knows (you may use TMs, HMs, whatever) in one battle (note: this does NOT mean choiced, this means it attacks once, with one move, then switches out or faints, literally one attack only). Afterwards, release it or box it (it's just like how in Ranger, you can get a Pokemon to help once then it leaves). You can do this however many times you want. Styla herself, though, may only fight against Wild Pokemon, not any trainers. So keep her levelled up, so she can help you catch more and more powerful pokemon.
When you get to the Elite Four, you may catch one Pokemon in Victory Road or before. Then you have a choice. If you go into the Elite Four with that Pokemon healed, then you can attack with it 12 times. For every level you train that Pokemon, you lose one attack. So train it one level, and get 11 attacks. Train two levels, and get 10 attacks. And so on (these levels only count outside the E4, any levels it gains during the E4 don't count). If you choose not to catch something in Victory Road, then you're stuck with 5 Pokemon (Styla herself can only fight wild Pokemon, remember?). This pokemon may be used throughout the E4 (unlike the others who had to be released) and champion.
Oh, and whenever you catch a Pokemon with Styla, you can only use Pokeballs and Great Balls. Enjoy!
Tiger the Rattata
Youngster, take Tiger the Ratatta. This Ratatta lives in the stages of life of a Tiger, as is his name.
The stages:
Hunting:
Must solo every pokemon he faces, and must never use his most powerful move.
Eating:
Must fight against only pokemon he has recently soloed, and must KO them again.
Sleeping:
Must not participate in battle, and cannot be taken out of your party
Mating:
Must be bred ASAP, and cannot fight until he has been bred
Hanging out with the Pack:
Must be in the party, and you must use every pokemon in your party in every battle you have.
Tiger must solo Falkner, Chuck, and Clair. From capture-Violet, Tiger is in the Hunting phase. Violet-Azeala, Sleeping. Azeala-Goldenrod, Eating. Goldenrod-Ecretuak, Sleeping. Ecretuak-Cianwood, Hunting. Cianwood-Olivine, Sleeping. Olivine-Mohagany, Eating. Mohagany-Blackthorn, Hunting. Through the E4, Tiger is in the Hanging out with the Pack stage, and must solo Bruno. In every other battle, the stage applies.
Kanto: Tiger must solo Misty, Sabrina, and Blue. From Indigo-Pewter, Mating. Pewter-Cerulean, Hunting.Cerulean-Vermillion, Hanging out. Vermillion-Cleadon, Sleeping. Cleadon-Saffron, Hunting. Saffron-Fuschia, Mating. Fuschia-Cinnibar, Sleeping. Cinnibar-Veridian, Hunting.
For the 2nd E4, the original E4 restrictions apply.
Must solo Red's Pikachu and one of his starters.
Patriot the Treecko
GrassBlade, take Patriot the Treecko. Your Treecko is the same one who appeared as a Grovyle in Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky. Therefore, he must try to prevent the destruction of the world. To evolve into Grovyle, Patriot must solo every Team Rocket member in Slowpoke Well, because they are evil and want to take over the world.
As a Grovyle, Patriot must acquire the move set of Leaf Blade, Dig, Quick Attack and Absorb ASAP (just like Grovyle's moveset in Mystery Dungeon.) He must keep this move set forever. He also hates Dunknoir, Sableye and all other ghost-types, so he must solo every ghost-type you encounter. Solo Morty, because he is the leader of the ghosts. He also has to stop Team Rocket again, and so must solo every Team Rocket executive in the Radio Tower. After completing this, Patriot may evolve into Sceptile.
Now that Patriot has saved the world, he can do whatever he likes. All restrictions on his move set are lifted, and he no longer has to solo ghost types. BUT! Patriot has discovered that Lance, supposedly a 'good guy' has actually been plotting to bring Primal Dialga back to destroy the world! Patriot must foil his plan by soloing Lance.

Hardest Individual Challenge
Vanguard the Infernape
I wasn't aware there was a slot reserved for me. Well, I don't like to disappoint. So extra hard difficulty it is. Screw you and your medium difficulty, I'm making this immensely difficult.
Since I get left with Chimchar, you get Vanguard the Chimchar. Vanguard is a guy who just doesn't like playing favourites. He'll kill anyone, and he'll kill all equally. So, he must be able to hit from both sides of the spectrum, using both Physical and Special attacks. He must have one move of each, and then never use his other attacks, unless they do no damage.
But that's too easy, telling you to use a MixApe with mixed attacks. So you need to use Vanguard extremely often. And you can never, ever, ever fly. Nor can you use items on Vanguard, though he may hold an item (which is the only item he can use, as long as it is an item that will activate while it's being held like Sitrus Berry) and that item may be replenished. Lead with Vanguard at all times, as long as it doesn't conflict with another challenge. He must solo at least 7 Pokemon per route (this is a once off thing, so as soon as you solo 7, you can traverse that route however many times you like and it wont reset). By now you're wondering, "whats the catch?". The catch is, whenever Vanguard falls into yellow health or below, you must throw out 15 items in your bag (so, like 15 poke balls, or 5+5+5, etc.) or P10000 worth of items, whichever comes LATER. If you ever reach 0 money, or are unable to fulfill these two conditions when Vanguard falls into yellow health, you must choose one team member. That team member gets thrown into the ocean, or thrown into a blender. Either way, you can't use that team member ever again, and all it's restrictions are null and void (you can not choose Vanguard himself to die). If it should happen that Vanguard falls into yellow health more than five times (so, 6th and onwards), the payment for your failure is 20 items or P12500, whichever comes LATER. If it should happen that Vanguard faints for any reason, then you must choose one team member. That team member cannot be used for any remaining gym battles, or if your are past the eighth gym, then that Pokemon may not be used against the Champion (the E4 are still fair game).
To make it doable, you may hack in Vanguard after the third gym, but must have hacked him in before the fifth gym. His level when you hack him in is (the number of badges you have x 5).
So yeah, good luck. I made it as brain-destroyingly hard as I could. Hope you like it.
For Easy Mode (if you're a coward), then each instance of "LATER" can be replaced by the word "FIRST", and you should then stock up on mail because it's cheap. Throw out 15 mail, it won't cost you much. But that's if you're a chicken.
Useless the Farfetch'd
AasTmO, if you want INSANE, then you get Useless the Farfetch'd. Useless thinks he is useless, and wants to show all those mean pokemon out there who'd NOT USELESS(even though Farfetch'd is). So..., he must never have a move with more than 20 BP, or can NEVER use those moves which do not, or be forced to take a level 3 penalty. Final moveset must be: Fury Cutter(which cannot be used more than 2 times in a row), Knock Off, Leer, and Sand-Attack. Each Status move cannot be used more than 1 time per pokemon, as that would mean he really IS useless. Also, he must solo every electric, rock, and ice type you face, which can be no less than 250, and must solo Lt. Surge, Sabrina, half of Giovanni's team every time you face him, and 1 member of the E4 that is not Lorieli, who must be soloed too. All must be soloed without any SE moves, if there are any, because that would show weakness in Useless, and being no higher than the level of each's main pokemon, and with only 10 item uses per. If Useless faints once, he recieves a level 1 penalty. 2 times, level 2, and so on. Also, if useful does anything wrong above, he faces a level 3 penalty.
The penalties include:
Level 1: Solo 500 pokemon at level 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Level 2: Level one doubled.
Level 3: Loss of a moveslot, first to go is Knock Off, plus Level 2 again.
Level 4: Loss of Sand-Attack's moveslot, and you get Level 2 doubled added on.
Level 5: Loss of Fury Cutter(basically a useless pokemon).
If Useless gets to level 1 on the above table/chart, he needs moral support and a buddy, so RNG another pokemon you have with you, and Useless must always be in the party with that member. Finally, You asked for it, so good luck with this!(If you want harder OR easier, just ask.)
Willow the Skitty
Take Willow the Skitty! The challenge this Skitty has is so amazing! I had to split it up into a lot of spoiler tags!
Firstly, the song lyrics!
...
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
I whip my hair back and forth
Secondly, the story of the challenge!
...
Take a Female Skitty and nickname her Willow. Of course, she loves the song in the spoiler above, but she can't exactly follow it unless I change the words a little, so, Willow now whips her tail back and forth.
Of course, she has to keep Tail whip to do so, and must Whip her tail a total of 3 times (and only three) against every pokemon she fights. She also must learn Swagger when you get to Slateport, as she must turn her swag on at the beginning of every battle she enters. One major thing however, is that she has "haters", so if ever she gets hit by pokemon she has confused/attracted, she must shake them off by whipping her tail even more, once for every time she is hit.
And that does it for Skittys story, Now for how she can evolve!
...
There are two ways of Skitty evolving. One good, one not so good.
If She Whips her Tail 3 times against 150 Trainer Owned Pokemon:
Willow believes she has Spread Her whipping to the world, and after evolving, only has to Whip her Tail once against pokemon, instead of three times as a skitty. She also loses her "haters" so that restriction is done too.
If She Whips her Tail 6 Times Against 75 Trainer Owned Pokemon
She evolves to protect herself, and must now Whip her tail Five Times every battle, instead of three. Every other Restriction Stays.
Tl;Dr Version
...
Take a Skitty, Nickname her Willow.
She must learn and keep Tail Whip and Swagger, use Swagger at the start of every battle she is in and use Tail Whip three, and only three times against every trainer owned pokemon she faces, unless the following restriction applies:
If She is hit through Swagger Confusion, or Cute Charm Attraction, she must Tail Whip again the next turn.
If She Whips her Tail (At least) 3 times against 150 Trainer Owned pokemon, She can evolve, and only needs to Tail Whip once against every trainer owned pokemon she faces afterwards.
If She Whips her Tail (At least) 6 Times against 75 trainer owned pokemon, she must evolve, and use tail whip 5 times against trainer owned pokemon.
Its_A_Douche the Ditto
Take a Ditto. Yes, I'm dead serious, a Ditto. You must catch the first Ditto you see. If it is hoolding an Item, it must keep hold of it & you may not give it any new items. Your restrictions depend on its item.
None: It can never be the lowest leveled member out of all your Scramblemons. When it transforms, it can only use attacking moves the Pokemon has, & it must stay in until it faints.
Quick Powder: Oh Noes! You appear to have a Nuzlocke-mon with three lives, no continues! Each time it faints, it loses a life, when it loses them all, it dies. Permanently. Each time it solos a Gym Leader/E4 Pokemon, it gains a life! It must stay in your party until it dies.
Metal Powder: It can never be the lowest leveled member out of all your Scramblemons. It may only fight against Pokemon with a higher level than it.
Either way, name it ItsADouche. Of course, with random restrictions, it does reflect my randomness.
Eipretac1 the Caterpie
You get a Caterpie, name it Eipretac1. Eipretac1 is the boss of all Caterpies, and must solo every Caterpie it comes along. Solo Misty to evolve into Metapod, then solo Erika to evolve into Butterfree. It must land the finishing blow on 3 GL/E4MPs, and can only faint up to a maximum of 15 times. Exceed this limit, and you must release Eipretac1 immediately, catch another one, name it Eipretac2, evolve it at LV 20 and 35, and solo a number of Pokemon equivalent to its highest stat that is not HP. It may now only faint up to a maximum of 5 times. Exceed again, you must do the exact same, evolve it at 10 levels later each (30 and 45), and do the same again. Now it can never faint. Everytime you make it faint, release, catch again, name it Eipretac*insert current version here* raise evolution levels, rinse and repeat. The limit for evolution levels are 99 and 100. It may not relearn any moves. Good luck.
