Talk about the current and upcoming GBU tournaments!

What's the set up? Doubles? Does it go against your current rating or is this seperate?

its doubles (VGC '12 format) and i believe its a seperate ranking system as it is a 4 day ladder match

Yep, unfortunately, I myself am not very good at doubles and am absolutely wretched at building teams for them :(

I just don't have a lot of desire to do this tourney, but if everyne else is doing it?

1. Two weather starters (I'm assuming to counter other weather) are unnessecary. I suggest replacing Ninetales with Garchomp or Mamoswine to form a nice Disquake combo.
2. Two supports can also be a burden, so I suggest replacing Sableye (the least useful) with an offensive TR setter/counter to deal with TR teams (maybe Gallade?)

It's not too bad for someone who doesn't know doubles.

And yes, I will be playing. (and I know doubles fairly well)

I considered Garchomp, but having three pokes with ice weaknesses is a bit scary. I chose Ninetales to exterminate my water problem. Sableye was my physical sweeper stopper, but I can see that Gallade could be useful as well (especially with Ally Switch, I've been wanting to try that out), but having two fighting pokes could be a bit of a problem as well :P
