Introduction
You've probably all heard of Entralink RNG abuse. It's the most difficult type of 5th Generation abuse and yadda yadda. But it is far from impossible; this guide aims to walk you through Entralink Abuse step-by-step, hopefully making it achievable for anyone with BW and an internet connection to perform.
Getting Started
Prerequisites:
~RNG Reporter 9.95 (windows only, sadly). (DL RNG Reporter
here)
~EonTimer v1.5 (again, windows only) or some other timer (this guide will use/reference EonTimer, however). (DL EonTimer
here)
~A DS/DSlite/DSi/3DS.
~Pokemon Black or White.
~A target pokemon that you want to Entralink Abuse in your Entree Forest, preferably the only pokemon there (more on this later)
~2 Chatots that know the move chatter (and have a chatter call recorded)
~Knowledge of how to hit C-Gear seeds (4th gen abuse is acceptable too, obviously)
Once you have all of the above, go into your BW game and save on either Route 9, or at the Pokemon League. The reason you MUST save at one of these two locations is because they have zero moving NPCs, which affect the PIDRNG frame. We need to use this frame to verify our standard seed, so having moving NPCs is detrimental to our efforts.
After you have saved at Route 9/the Pokemon League, turn off your game, and go to your computer. You will need
two copies of EonTimer (or some other timer program) and
RNG Reporter 9.95 open. Go to RNG Reporter and click on Time Finder -> 5th Generation Time Finder, as shown below.
What we need to do now is find our target C-Gear seed. Input the criteria for what you want, set the method to "IVs (C-Gear Seed)", and set the IV frame min to 21, and the max to 26. The min/max delays should be set to around 6,000 and 12,000, respectively. After all of that is done, and your parameters are entered under the "DS Parameters" tab, click generate. If done correctly, when the search finishes it should look something similar to the below image:
Pick one that you like, right click on it and select "Generate More Times", like this:
In the window that pops up, there should be a list of times, with the seed's delay on the right. Take note of this delay, and enter it into one of the two copies of EonTimer you have open, under the 5th Gen. tab. This is shown below:

If it isn't already checked, click the "Entralink" checkbox, and click okay on the window that pops up.
***Note: Your Calibration value in EonTimer may vary depending upon the method you use to hit your C-Gear seed; this guide will assume you enter the game from the DS menu when the first timer hits zero, as soft resetting causes the Timer0s to fluctuate more. Don't worry if you don't know your calibration value yet; that will be covered later in the guide.
Once that is done, head back to 5th Gen time finder in RNG Reporter and right click on your target seed again. This time, select "Generate Entralink Nature Seeds...", like in the image below:
In the new window that pops up, check to make sure all of your parameters info is correct, then select your target nature from the drop-down menu. (Note that you can select multiple natures at a time if you so desire; this can create larger target groupings, but ultimately the decision is up to you). An all-filled-out Entralink Seed Search example is shown below:
***Note: if your target frame for IVs is not 21, change the "Min Advances" to 100, and the "Max Advances" to 200. Otherwise, you can leave those two values as is.
Once you have everything filled out, click search. A search that has finished is shown in the image directly below:
Once you have a list of results, scroll through them until you find a grouping that you like. Right click and copy the standard seed to clipboard, then paste it in the main RNG Reporter window, with the method set to "Gen 5 PIDRNG, and encounter type to "Entralink Pokemon". Click the "calculate initial PID frame" button,
add three to this number, set the gender ratio to your target mon's gender, then hit generate. You should get something like the below image:
Finally, scroll down to your target frame grouping and make note of the times listed. Go to the second instance of EonTimer (the one we haven't used yet) and round one of the times you just found to the nearest second. This is the value we put in the first timer under the 3rd Gen tab in the second EonTimer. Don't worry about the secondary timer for third gen (e.g, target frame), all we need for Entralink RNGing is the first. When you have it all set up it should look something like this:
Alright. We're 99% finished setting everything up. Switch back to RNG Reporter and go click on the Entralink Seed Search window. Highlight one of the frames for your target seed, and take note of the first three Chatot Calls at the bottom of the window, like in the image below:
Remember that three we added to the initial frame in the main window? Those three frames are taken up by the three chatot calls you do to verify your standard seed. When you try for your entralink mon listen for the corresponding pitches you found in the Entralink Seed Search tab. If they don't match, you can reset, because you didn't hit the correct standard seed.
Anyways, Congratulations! You are now all set up and ready to begin trying for your target Entralink pokemon.
The Process of Trying for your Entralink Pokemon
Now that you have everything set up, you can begin trying for your target pokemon. Switch to the first instance of Eontimer, as shown below:
Once you've done the above, quickly turn off your DS and back on again, pressing A on your BW game when the first timer hits zero, like in the image below:
Then, once your game has booted up, enter the game, but DON'T turn on the C-Gear when it prompts you at the continue screen.
