StrategiCentre is a brand new youtube channel - meaning we are pretty short handed when it comes to making videos come to fruition. So far the StrategiCentre team consists of just Firewing and I. If you are interested in helping out with the channel and getting a little more exposure for your own channel in the process, use this thread as a means to apply.

Joining the StrategiCentre team

What exactly does the Battle Rater do?

TheChortler: The battle rater would participate when we get submissions to vote on its competitive viability and whether it should be caste on the channel or not. Seeing as we are still new and lack many submissions, it has been pretty easy for Firewing and I to rate ourselves; however in the future, we expect a large glut of submissions, thus the need for more people to review stuff.

That being said, im not discouraging you from applying! We expect the battle rater to be knowledgeable in at least 1 of our accepted metagames (BW OU or VGC 2012) in order to accepted for the position.

I know a lot about both styles, so whenever you guys need a hand with rating, I'd be charmed to assist you.

Hi guys I would like to be considered for narrations primarily as I really enjoy the narrating part of it. I would also be willing to help with every other aspect though as I really appreciate what you guys do.

Hi Magmortarism!

For Battle Rater, you are approved because I know you are a decent OU player.

For Narrating, I am a little on edge for approval mainly because in your narrations from what I have seen, you tend to have lots of unnecessary pauses which throws off the tempo for the viewer. You tend to make good, insightful commentary when you are talking, but the pauses throw me off a bit. Maybe it is just nervousness?

If you can work on making your narrations feel a little more natural, I will approve you for narration.

As for the other positions, are you capable of recording Battles in HD or using Video Editing software? What kind of software do you have?
