From a short obituary to a grand memorial, put your tributes to lost friends here.

I lost many friends on my adventure through Pearl version. The list includes Rocky the Geodude and Zirark the Skorupi, amongst others. We have fought hard battles, against Gym Leaders, trainers and Team Galactic. However, despite how hard we fought, the cold hands of death wrapped their fingers around some of my Pokemon. I felt pain that I believed I could never feel in a Pokemon game. While many souls have perished on my journey, four of them were very close to me. We fought against the odds and made it farther than any other of my Nuzlocke attempts before. They fought with spirit that I could never have seen before in a Pokemon game. They had personalities that I believe my own imagination gave them, which makes it even harder to deal with the pain of their death. Now, fellow adventurers, I honor those four who have fought hard through the game and shined brighter than any star in the sky. Let out tears fall as we mourn.
Tiana the Gyarados
I met Tiana as a level 17 Magikarp. With her Brave nature, I knew she would be strong enough to take down the toughest opponents. She was feisty and boisterous, always looking for a fight. I gave her the EXP. Share so she could train without having to battle, since Magikarp are terrible at battling. When she evolved, I taught her Thunder and Blizzard. She fought hard, and was able to beat Maylene's Lucario and Crasher Wake all by herself. However, she was killed by the worst thing of all: her own power. A Galactic Grunt's Croagunk used Swagger on her, and she beat herself into submission. She was laid to rest in the sea, where she came from. Rest in piece, friend.
Defense the Bastiodon
People on #nuzlocke jeered us. They thought Defense would be too weak. But boy did he prove them wrong. With Metal Sound, his extraordinary bulk and Shock Wave, he was a monster as a Shieldon. He could take down Gyarados all by himself! When he learned Fire Blast and AncientPower, he became even stronger. It seemed like nothing could stop him. He was proud of his defense, which was fantastic. When he evolved into Bastiodon, it even got better. It was like he was almost impenetrable. He continued to destroy everything in his path. However, a Gengar in Fantina's Gym would soon seal his doom. He used Mean Look while Defense used Metal Sound. Then he used Confuse Ray, causing me to hit myself. Then... he used Curse. I gasped in horror as Defense's HP slowly drained. I had to keep using Super Potions. But Gengar kept using Shadow Ball, and got lucky with Special Defense drops. I watched as the curse did in Defense. A death from Curse is a terrible thing. The soul is forever cursed, meaning my poor Bastiodon will never rest in peace. However, in that same battle, Nimbus the Staravia evolved into Staraptor, almost as if to help me through the challenges. I hope that one day the curse will be lifted, my old friend.
Clunker the Bronzor
Shortly after Defense's death, I met Clunker. With his Naive nature, I knew he wouldn't be using Gyro Ball. But that didn't stop him. After much training to raise him to a strong level, he helped defeat Fantina's dreaded Gengar. However, on Iron Island, a place he seemed to love from the start, something terrible happened. We were fighting a Graveler. The stony Pokemon gave an evil grin, and used SelfDestruct. Despite his Heatproof, I saw my precious Clunker melt from the heat of the blast. I looked at the half melted Bronzor, and buried him amongst the iron of the island he loved. Rest in peace, my dear dish plate.
Acheron the Torterra
Nothing could compare to the pain of losing Acheron. I got the Serious Turtwig as my first Pokemon on this adventure. Nothing can describe the pain I feel now. We fought some of the toughest trainers in the land. We fought Roark, we fought Mars, we fought Hikers and Campers a plenty. He had been one of the coolest Pokemon I've ever used. We were closer than any other Pokemon and Trainer could be. In my imagination, we were like brothers. While we were training and mouring over Clunker, we got in a fight with a Hiker. He used a Zubat, who he dispatched quickly. However, the Golbat was much worse. First, he used the dreaded Confuse Ray. Torterra managed to hit though it though, like he always had. But the Golbat wasn't dead. Then, the Golbat used Air Cutter. I watched with at first little fear, but it grew into horror as my Torterra's HP dropped slowly to zero. A critical hit. Bloody and wounded from the blades of wind, he fell to the ground and died. Nimbus watched in pain as his oldest friend died. In a fit of fury, Nimbus brutally killed the Golbat. But the damage couldn't be taken away. The tough Torterra was dead. We cried and mourned over the loss of what was almost my brother. Nimbus and Offense beat the shit out of the Hiker, and Smokey helped me mourn over the loss. Pokemon brother, may you rest in eternal peace...

Choppin' the Primeape
I met choppin' wayyyyy back on route 22 as a mankey in FireRed, she was my second pokemon after my starter. She was a brave mankey, always fighting for me and coming through when I needed her most. And then on my way to the rock tunnel, she evolved into a mighty primeape and was stronger than ever. After she was taught rock slide, she tore things apart left and right. We were an unstoppable duo, her and I. Ironically, her death came about not by fighting her opponent but instead herself. I was training up my dratini I bought from the game corner when I came across a scientist. I switched out dratini and switched in Choppin' into a simple Magnemite, something she would destroy with ease back in the day, but this Magnemite used supersonic on the switch. Confused, my Primeape hit herself in confusion once, twice, and I decided to take a risk and try to kill that evil Magnemite, but alas, Primape hit herself thrice.

Luxray "Scatman" Kiiroi
, ♂ (Lv. 2 - Lv. 48)

Final Circa: Charge / Thunder Fang / Crunch / Return @ Victory Road
I remember when we first met. I was in Route 204, looking for a Starly. I was at first disappointed a Shinx popped up instead, but out of cuteness and pity, I caught you anyway, as my team was very loose at the time. Before I knew it, you were pulling the team together, being the only one who managed to resist Flying and Water, types that your brothers, Pourquoi and the late Oatmeal were weak to. Schneizel and yourself were the powerhouses of my team, often being the lead and ploughing everything with Spark, and eventually Thunder Fang.
You had such power in your small frame, but it more than made up for your lack of movepool. Just Charge + Thunder Fang alone were strong enough to topple some of Sinnoh's greatest. Even Palkia. There was nothing that stood in your way, not even Ground-types after a Crunch or two. No matter how underlevelled we were, you always managed to come out on top, alive. You were invincible. And just when a Medicham appeared, a great friend to have... it was hostile, I was too overzealous, and you paid the price for my blunder. I'm... I'm sorry.
Sometimes I look over the grassy field we used to walk across. And sometimes, I can still see an image of you, running around the grass, playing with Nightbane. I can still hear your roars of might and joy, I could still feel the electricity in the air crackling off your mane. But now, when I look down, there is a gap and a feeling of numbness where your Pokéball was supposed to be.
I'm sorry. And I thank you for all the memories you have given me, and all the times we shared. If it were not for you, I would not have gotten past Fantina or Crasher Wake. You will always be one of the first, and one of the most important.
Sleep well... Young prince.

I lost few companions over the course of Ruby, but the loss of even a few stung greatly.
SNOOPY the Female Poochyena: Poochyena never were my favorite pokemon, but I decided to put you on the team anyway. You served as a powerful physical force, but unfortunately, one day a trainer with a Wurmple managed to poison you. I defeated the trainer and ran, but when I got to Nurse Joy, she was seconds to late to save you. I'm sorry.
GAS GIANT the Male Koffing: You barred me out of getting fire pokemon from Firey Pass, but still, I thought you could be used alongside Wing Blade the Skarmory well as a wall. Expecially because you were immune to poison, which I've learned to hate. However, while I was training you, Lyra the Zangoose, Wing Blade the Skarmory, and Normandy the Numel, you came across a Spinda. We had not seen such a high leveled spinda, but when it saw you, one crit Psybeam and it was over. I never even really got a good chance to use you. :(
MORISSEY the Male Loudred: When I saw you in Rusterf Tunnel, I was overcome with joy and caught you to be trained. You were the odd one out, and was the seventh member until the death of Snoopy. However, you perserveared... holding a Silk Scarf, you fought foe after foe, laughing at failed Supersonics and Growls, until you managed to evolve! Then... there was the trainer with the Seviper. You just couldn't pull out of your Uproar in time, and you were stabed to death.
All three of you... rest easy.

my.. Pikachu just died. She was a Gentle soul. Her name was Mew and she was Level 50. She fell in victory road, to a crit Aura Beam from a trainer's Cloyster. My Blastoise has little PP remaining (2 for each move) was unable to do much to the huge defenses and resistences of Cloyster, and Mew would easily OHKO with Thunderbolt. But alas, her defenses were too poor... No stone shall mark her grave, but her light ball stolen through long hours of toil... shall go with her.
I will defeat the Elite 4 in her honour.

Well, I tested emerald. Have a few more for the road.
ZOMNOOPY the Female Poochyena: You always freaked me out. When you rose back up from the dead, I was wary of you... but you remained loyal. During the fight against Roxanne, you failed to defeat Nosepass, and died again, but this time, there was no coming back.
MARIA the Female whismur and NINJERRY the Male Nincada: You two worked well in battle, but alas, when May pulled out Treeko, you two couldn't defeat him.
GILL the Male Marshtomp: You were my starter, a scarlet knight who helped at all points. I cheered when you evolved after avenging the death of Zomnoopy, but was distressed when you could not finish the job on Treeko.

both my Blastoise (friend) and Snorlax (LAXYKITTEN) have fallen to the elite 4. Laxykitten made me think i had a chance when all else looked lost, twice. Rest/Body Slam/Rock Side/Shadow Ball.. but Agatha's Arbok caught it on the switch with Sludge bomb.. and it fainted. freind's loss was altogether more sad, he was a Lv. 66 Blastoise with Surf/Ice Beam/Bite/Rest so taking him down directly was near impossible.. but after beating Lance on his own, and doing most of the work against Bruno and Lorelei he had only one Bite PP left, and 4 Rest PP to fight off my rival.. but there was nothing else. Nothing else I could do.

Today, two of my companions died ;_;
Colenel the misspelled Pineco:
He was a brave Pineco, we met on route 35 when Skype and I were just starting to headbutt some trees. You grew strong quickly, able to Protect and Bide your way to a victory, and you even got to learn Spikes and grow into your role as a staller! Unfortunately, your role couldn't last much longer; as soon as we landed on Cinawood City Eusine got jealous of us and attacked. You set up your 3 layers of Spikes and took down his Drowzee, but his Electrode got a crit on Thunder-it was over. Skype finished it off quickly...
Mr Wiggles the Tentacool:
He was new to the team, I just met him on route 41, but he proved himself against the swimmers. He took down everyone we faced on that quick journey and with Toxic Spikes, he would make a formidable threesome with Colenel using Spikes and Doritos abusing Whirlwind. It wasn't to last though, against Chuck you took down Primeape with your usual demeanor. I assume his Poliwrath saw that cold death his friend endured, as he absorbed your every attack and pummeled you with his bloody fists in a body slam-a gruesome death that was undeserved.

The long graveyard list for my ended Emerald run:
Quack The Treecko:
My time with Quack was short, while it held its own through battle and even managed to live through Poisoning, he wasn't as strong as he thought. He became too overconfident and made me challenge Roxanne. The trainers fell easily to a quick Absorb but Nosepass, oh dear. Absorb started doing piss damage and before we realised it was too late, Nosepass had us Blocked.
Goodbye Treecko, sorry for being so rash in my challenge.
Larry the Lombre-
Larry as a Lotad was the one who managed to salvage the battle against Roxanne thanks to his strong Bullet Seed. He then went on to evolve into Lombre after the battle with the Aqua Grunt in Rusturf Tunnel. We had a great time, but alas he was murdered by Brawly's Machop, who got a (lucky) critical hit with Karate Chop...
He had just got accustomed to his new body...
AZNmarill the Azumarill-
Alongside Larry you gave me tremendous support after the death of Quack. Your Power was Huge, greater than the rest of my team infact, and your Tackles and Rollouts were the best attack I had. When you evolved in Granite Cave I felt on the top of the world; Brawly would be a pushover with you at my side. But alas, his Makuhita proved too strong for you, and cruelly Vital Throw'd you to the ground, where you would stay forever.
Big Mac the Hariyama-
I caught you in Granite Cave when you were a wee Makuhita, and a strong one at that. You helped me take down Brawly's evil Makuhita, and then sailed strong throughout, defeating giants such as May and even pummeling Wattson to the ground. Your Gutsy nature proved handy in many cases, where you compelled me to carry on fighting, no matter what.
Tragically, I got overconfident in your abilities and Maxie's Camerupt hax''d you to the ground. I could have saved you, but I failed to, and this is entirely my fault.
Sleep well Big Mac...
KingCotton the Swablu and Lemon/Lemmy/Orunge the Camerupt-
I caught you both shortly before the battle with Maxie, and both of you proved yourself against Flannery. We made it through the desert, fending off psychopathic explorers, and even made a stand against all the Cool Trainers in Norman's gym. Yet my dad was cruel enough to send you to your graves with his behemoths. You both died undeserved deaths, and in vain too. Again I was overconfident and rash, and please forgive me for that.
