Since what we're doing isn't exactly the standard Minecraft Hunger Games, I guess we should try to decide our own rules. The standard rules are that players in the arena (which is a premade map) can only break leaves, grass, and vines and are not allowed to place any blocks. The premade maps come with a cornucopia of supplies at the center and various chests hidden around which provide the players food, tools, weapons, and armor. These games also usually allow admins (or sometimes players who have lost) to "sponsor" a player by spawning them items. Games played on these maps often resulted in large alliances that would pick off individuals until only alliance members were left, when they would fight each other to see who would win. However, Nanonswine has already made us a different map, with the apparent intentions of using different rules. So the rules we need to decide are:
1. What players are allowed to break and place
2. Who (if anyone) is allowed to spawn items and what they are allowed to spawn and
3. Whether or not alliances are allowed and a possible size limit if they are allowed
EDIT: here are versions 1 and 2 of the basic map, along with the rules given by the map maker (which I didn't remember perfectly)
