Well, now that we have our art for CAP 10, we may as well fill the CAP kitchen back up.

I'll post my idea first.



Pokemon seems to be distinctly lacking in larva-based Pokemon that are not simply caterpillars that Magikarp could honestly outclass, or second stages of pseudo-legendaries.

This idea, based (loosely) on a Nauplius (technical name for the first stage [not counting the eggs] of a crustacean's life cycle), seeks to rectify this.

Any thoughts on a pre-evolution for this CAP? Suggestions for a different pre-evolution style? Stat spreads for the pre-evolution we choose?

I think it should be considered legendary, and thus not have any pre-evolutions.

Despite Shaymin, I'm not convinced this isn't a paradox.

Well, the only requirement to be a legendary is to be so rare there's only 1 per game. Still, I think I was stretching a bit by saying the shrimp should be a legend, but I'd prefer not to give it pre-evolutions anyway.

Meh...I just thought it was creative. Besides Admiral Korski's pre-evo moves fit perfectly with it.

Anyways...any other pre-evo ideas anyone?

Err, I don't really see this thing being Legendary, but I can see it being sort of a uniquey mono-evolution thing, and I find myself wanting to compare it to Girafarig and Kecleon, which is weird because they're almost completely unrelated. :0 But still.

I came up with a triple evolution concept, and I actually came up with it specifically to make Banryu happy (if this guy gets Draco Meteor).

Stage One: The first form is actually a very puny, very squishy looking water dragon, similar in shape to Gyrados or Dratini. He's got an Eastern Dragon-style mustache with yellow bulbs on the end of it, and has some very puny arms. This type is either Water/Dragon or Electric/Dragon.

Stage Two: Our little wyrm is obviously insecure about it's physique. The evolution is the same bugger, but he's trying to compensate for his scrawniness by wearing some organic armor. He's got a "helmet" that looks just like our Krilowatt. The Mustache is threaded through the top and has become CAP10's antenna. Guy has put some armor over his tail. He's got some pinkish claw-swords in his arms. He still doesn't look very threatening, but obviously he's trying.

Stage Three: Compensating for it's insecurities to an extreme, this little dragon has completely surrounded himself in a shrimp-like electric armor. He gets Magic Guard, and feels like a badass, but loses his Dragon typing.

Long Story Short: CAP10 is a scared little dragon hiding inside a shrimpy disguise. And that's how it learns Draco Meteor.

Fun idea, lol.

Just to be clear, I changed my mind on the legendary thing and basically agree with Banryu now. I don't see anything "wrong" with the ideas that have been brought up so far, but if there was a simple yes/no vote on whether Krilo should get (a) pre-evolution(s), I would vote no.

So...should we begin some sort of flavor poll now?
