You certainly know this but however, just in case you forgot that Israel, since his independance in 1948 have always be linked, and this, for all type of competition (sciences, sports, arts) to the european continent. Don't need to explain why as the reasons are obviously and comprehensively political. Thus, as pkmn is a competition aswell, you should be assigned or at least authorized to join a european team(guess you have european origins like most of the isreal ppl today (or russian)). This for sure and only if you feel uncomfortable with middle east team for personal reasons (this solution still remains best as we all hope that in the future, the conflict with neighbours will end).
