I was rank 1 in ubers in July, I know what ho-oh is like he was on my team and I also despite all his powers the rainbow pheonix is flawed in a metagame filled with the number one stealth rock user and best spin blocker, ho-oh is a beast in the sun, spreading burns to those who switch in, honestly switching into ho-oh is insane, brave bird sacred fire earthquake hit everything in ubers hard with that nice 130 attack, it's not rayquaza standard but it will do. But the Phoenix is slow and it's weaker defence is very easy to exploit, if you avoid the burn and if Sr has hurt ho-oh it's special defence means nothing anymore, brave bird as powerful as it is, the recoil can put ho-oh in the ko range of mewtwo and pals and as a pokemon 4x weak to Sr it really doesn't want to switch out and as previously mentioned it's going to be very hard getting Sr off the field to allow ho-oh to function properly.
but I must apologise for my earlier im it was hashed together in a fit of misery frustration and rage, someone has recently been unbelievably insensitive to me, top that off with a love one dying and I was suffering from depression, I should not have dreamed I could make a convincing argument on something so controversial while in a state like that and I apoloise you had to read that crap, give me time to heal and I am sure I can convice you, I am not some rambling noob that has no idea what he is talking about rather the seasoned battler of 5 years from pe2k. Haha, thanks that means alot :]. I'll actually end up crediting you a bit in a future hail team rmt if I actually do decide to RMT it. It uses a bunch of crazy stuff that somehow works together lol.
