That Skarmory doesn't always opt to Roar, as I see DP used very often. So unless it's been Skarmory3 (645) most of those times, I've been "lucky" enough to have the one with Roar actually use DP futilely as I 3HKO with Crunch.

I've been Roared before, but only if Skarmory1 (373) is the second poke do I actually care. As poke three I just SD with Chomp and fire away with OR on a Skarmory without recovery. If it Roars as poke two I am going to Charm then try Flash with Mesprit in spite of the 50% Keen Eye chance so it can't start shuffling. I'd want to get Chomp a Sub and one SD, as Outrage will always 2HKO Skarm given prior Crunch damage.

Most importantly, Acupressure boosts Evasion too. Skarm has only two chances to Roar Drapion that 3HKOs with +6 Crunch even if Roar is tried. And the fewest number of trainers use Set 1 pokemon compared to any other set (only two of 100 specialize in Set 1), so being Roared away by Skarmory1 is a very remote threat.

Hallo, I've been frequenting the Smogon forums for a few months now, just decided to sign up so I could ask you something about your Mesprit, Drapion, Garchomp team... How on earth do you deal with Skarmory #373? A +6 to everything Drapion can't OHKO a Skarmory with Crunch even with a critical hit and is entirely susceptible to Roar.
I'm just curious about how you recover from having all of your buffs stripped from you in one go, or if you just cross your fingers every time a Skarmory pops up.

I logged on, chatted for a few minutes, then battled for half an hour, upon which I was banned by a mod for a week without an explanation. The same thing happened to my brother who was banned before he even logged on. I know for a fact that nether of us did or said anything against the rules. My user name is Jumpman15 (Taken from Donkey Kong which I deeply enjoy, and the number 15 which I think is pretty sharp) so I figured at first that a mod had assumed I was trying to fake being the admin Jumpman16 (I didn't know he was an admin when I made the account and I hadn't even said anything over the last half an hour causing me to think the ban wasn't from the mod thinking I was an impostor).
If there's a way to clear this up my user name is Jumpman15 and my brother's is Luigi.

Just letting you know I replied in the Frontier thread about the Memento (you said you tested in DP, so maybe it got changed in Platinum... I wouldn't know. Also, your comment about the shiny Uxie wasn't at me, was it? Because I don't have a shiny one, nor do I have a usable Latios.
