Mostly the amount of attempts would be to missed Timer0 so it would probably be about the %age you got the Timer0 you searched with compared against the % you didn't.

Timer0 is something you cannot control. You have to repeat the calibration process until you can determine which Timer0 value you get most often. Then use that one in your profile for searching things.

It tells you in the search results window if you scroll all the way to the right.

Oh to hit your seed you would just enter the DS game from the DS main menu at the specified time, while holding the required buttons. On a lite/phat you would do it 1 second before the time given in Reporter. Earlier than that for DSi/3DS.

Oh you just started eh? Perhaps you should start with something simpler. uh... Virizion is a good start for B/W2 as there are no random NPCs close to it. RNG is a thing of experience, that's all.

If you have B/W1 it's much easier to start there as well.
