just felt like commenting on some shit in the nfl thread:
the reason for the huge difference in sacks between brady and cassel is because brady was (is) exponentially better than cassel at reading coverages, making quick decisions, and getting the ball out there. i don't know if cassel still has this problem but it sure was apparent back then. in fact, sacks have a lot to do with the quarterback, it's just a silly fan perception that the o-line has everything to do with it.
anyway, i agree he is a bit overrated from a strictly physical/statistical standpoint (lol peyton v brady), but he's still obviously very good. you can't throw 50 touchdown passes in a season and say you can put your average QB in there and expect the same results. yes, even with moss/welker/etc.
