Hi. Could you help me understand a detail of gen 5 breeding. I got two decent spreads that occurred during mass breeding, where I started breeding and did not stop for an hour or longer. Somewhen during that mass breeding, I got a couple of decent spreads, but I'd like to know this: Do I have to start at the exact same time and wait minutes and minutes to get to the same spread that I got during the mass breeding? Or could I estimate the time I got that exact spread and try to RNG a minute before that time (which was somewhere in the middle of the hour of mass breeding) and try to get the same spread that way?

So for 10417 03221, I got 28B1 C95

Since C95 is only 3 digits I would put the 0 in front of it like this: 28B10C95?

Quick question: I just Windows Calculator, and the second part or if MTIVRNG game out to being only 3 digits, does that mean you add a 0 to the end?

Yeah, see I told you I'm retarded in this kind of thing. Yeah, I checked it, came out to being some 10 digit number which obviously can't be the seed, so what do I do from there? >.<

I take the MTIVRNG and convert the 10 digits into hex, right?
Than what it comes out to being is my seed, correct?
(I totally thought of this while I was brushing my teeth, lawl).

Okay, I've read through it, but how do I find what seed I'm hitting?

Frame are not affected by parent switching on it's own as far as I know, but using different power items can change the frame you're hitting and will change the frame if the frame you previously had didn't have the stat inherited from the newly equipped power item. Using different power items will also land the same frame if the right stats are passed on that frame.

Here's some advice when looking for good frames. You should always try to hit frames with power items and an everstone equipped, always re-save a couple of times to see what the NPC's can give you. If you hit a good frame with a Power Item you could consider breeding on that seed even if it's a bit hard to hit(you can check frame independent of seed btw). If you have a good seed but crap frames you can try using the Churine and Chiiramii to time your pick-up, like you were the first to suggest =p

Patience, tons of it is what you'll need.
Besides that try to keep you timer time as low as possible. I always set my clock to the nearest minute and set my timer to 30 and never go for 40 seconds or anything like that. Not having to change the timer and such makes it all a bit quicker. If you find a spread with a single good stat, try to hit it again but check the seed before collecting the egg so you can verify with RNG Reporter. Also keep in mind that if the seed is a bitch to hit again while trying to verify with the check code it's probably going to be just as much of a bitch when trying to breed a Pokémon.
