i was theorymonning to myself as i fell asleep yesterday and i thought:
the common backbone of defensive ubers teams (rain, specifically) is chansey, giratina, lugia and ferrothorn.
chansey takes special dragons
giratina takes physical / special spectrum and can take kyogre if sp.def
lugia takes physical (dragons) and can serve as a mixed wall
ferro takes most of what the others can't take, like zekrom

so i was thinking that an offensive ubers team should be like something that owns that core, maybe cb ray cos it 2hko's lugia iirc paired with palkia / wobb / darkrai. man i felt so clever that night.
