I try to build all my teams to be based off of an OU metagame, so I guess I mainly run OU. Most of my work on this team has been theorymonning though, and with only a little bit of play testing. As I said, I have been super busy. Running my poison team to fit as close as it can in OU as possible. And I try to do the best I can with semistall, considering that poison is a crap attacking type.

Yeah, with a full fire team, you only have 5 pokemon who can use SR, 1 spinner, and NONE can learn spikes or T-spikes. Youre stuck with HO, no matter how you look at it really.

Ninetales... eh... Its worth a try. It DOES get energy ball (something only Shandera gets as well), and it would be nice to put a stop to infinite rain... Overall, its worth a test.

    And yes. LOTS OF BALLOONS!

I almost went ahead and RMT'd it but I was actually planning on playing around with it a bit before I did. You know, refine it a bit more. However, I kind of dropped away from it, since I have been incredibly busy this semester, and haven't had time to really play lately. Soon I hope to finish it up.

A monofire team? Jeeze, thats really risky for a monotype, haha. But after taking a second to look at the overall list of fire pokemon, there are still some great choices.

    Arcanine (ofc)
    Houndoom
    Blaziken
    Infernape
    Rotom F
    Victini
    Shandera
    Ulgamoth
    Heatran

The only thing is that obvious heavy weakness to rock+water+ground.

True, its niche will be beating stall completely once Gliscor is gone. Untill then I also believe it will be UU. But I will write the analysis anyway. Keep on commenting the thread if you find something worth it.

I was really happy when I saw FP and Iron Fist. Then I went and said "well, Ice Punch will teach Gliscor it can't come in" and it doesn't learn it. A robot with Iron Fist that doesn't learn the elemental punches... it's kinda disappointing.

The problem is that for a support pokemon like a spin blocker, it needs more support than the one it can offer. I think it can do some things very well but not that. I will however mention it like you said.

yeah, that's one of the things I have to change because Goruguu can't be a spin blocker when the most common spinners are Tentacruel and Starmie. The only way it can do that is either in sun or with screens support but I won't make a set for that.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I just took this pokemon and I'm only playtesting now. Right now I'm testing adamant with Sub/FP/EQ/Toxic and it helps a lot against stall but I haven't tested other sets.

Ubisoft tipped us off to a new Flash game they've made to promote Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Now, it may just be that I've been playing a lot of Tomena Sanner lately but I think this is damn good.

You can check out the game here. I do recommend it. A surprisingly fun diversion, this.

How do I access this PO server? BTW, I'll try and PM you soon (probably in a couple of days, seeing as how I have my last exam tomorrow, I want to get to bed early, and am traveling home that day too) with my planned team, or at least a rough sketch of it. I would mention the details here, but visitor messages are too short for that. BTW, why Volt Change on Forretress? Is it for Politoed leads?

Hi, I'm new here on Smogon. I've been lurking around a bit, and I really like your idea for a sun team, namely the one with Mebukijika and Venusaur. I have an odd fascination with deer, and I'm glad that the stag they introduced in Gen V is actually good. And I heard that you were using a Forretress and Ninetales on this team as well. I'm just curious: What is your sun team basically like (the one w/ Mebu, of course)? I'm planning on making a sun team when B/W come out in the US or maybe on Smogon before that if I learn how to use the servers. Now, I'm not trying to completely copy your team or anything like that, but I'm just curious to know what it's like, so I can have some inspiration for my future team. I really like your ideas, which is why I ask.
