I look through the summaries on Serebii. And, on a random note, are you happy that Ash finally gets a Dark Pokemon?

Are you trying to SR for a shiny Denchura if you can?

How do you RNG in B/W?

Okay, here goes:
-Ash is still 10 years old
-Ash travels with 2 of Unova's gym leaders (Iris and Dent)
-Iris has an Axew and an Excadrill with her. Dent still has his Pansage and gets an Ishizumai later on.
-Iris' Excadrill is disobedient, like Ash's Charizard and Dawn's Mamoswine before it.
-Team Rocket isn't as annoying anymore and means serious business. They leave all their Pokemon but Meowth behind before going to Unova. Jessie has a Woobat, but James doesn't have anything.
-Ash has Pidove, the Unova starters and Zuruggu (the last one hatched from an egg) as his Unova Pokemon.
