Ha, that's why Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise will always be kings. xD Technically the challenge does not start until you obtain your Pokeballs. I'd just restart though. Or pick a different game. Here is the Smogon Nuzlocke guide. It contains a list that tells you how difficult each game is to Nuzlocke.
