To battle, first you need to register ur friend code right here on your profile. After you type in your BW friend code you can go to the Wi-Fi battle finder. Make sure when you go to the wi-fi battle finder ur friend code is correct and typed right. Then after that, there will be a box that says "rule sets" or some thing like that. Just type in what teir or style you want to play (ex: BW OU, VGC 2012, Monocolor, ect.) I hope this helps you!
