i woke up in the middle of the night, struck with a searing memory of the image you're talking about

i know exactly the one. i know for certain that it's on my computer back home, and also that i have it attributed to man ray. i'm not certain if it's really his, though, as it doesn't completely fit his aesthetic (though his drawings are often incongruous with his photography) and i'm having trouble finding it due to not having a piece name to work off of.

i'll keep up the odyssey of retrieval.

i have no recollection of an image like that, which is a bit perturbing. i only started cataloguing and curating pictures i'm fond of maybe 3 years ago, so anything before that has either become the void or exists on my desktop back home. i would delve into the latter, but, you know, geographical limitations and all.

when i'm home from tokyo in 7 months i'll dig for it, and if something comes to me before then i'll let you know. i'm really mystified as to how this particular avatar could escape me, i feel like i remember most of my past ones. i will be plumbing some mental depths for this one.
