Hey I figured I would VM you rather than post on the RNG thread again. Once I find the IVs of the pokemon I catch in Victory Road (I'm using Rare Candies so I shut my game off after I figure the IVs out [and I save after I catch the pokemon but before using the candies]) I can go to the Pokemon Center, deposit all but one pokemon (since I think I read 128 steps with one pokemon in your party advances your frame by 1, if 5 pokemon were in your party, it would advance the frame by 5 (but I only need to advance it by 1). Then I would just walk or bike to the place where I want to capture the RNG pokemon, save then shut the game off. Turn it back on, then walk 128 steps?
Is this correct? I feel like such a dummy but you sound like you know how to do what I am trying to do so I figured a VM would be better than posting on the thread again.. thanks for your time, it is appreciated :)
