  1. Fun in the Sun: a UU Sunny Day Discussion

Here's a Lead I used to use a lot. Mismagius @ Heat Rock Levitate 252 HP/252 Spe/4 Sp.Def Jolly Nature --- -Sunny Day -Taunt -Destiny Bond/Pain Split -Will-o-wisp She was pretty rad, though I never could decide between pain split and D.Bond
  2. np: UU - Higher Ground

Charizard is pretty much the Electivire of UU, he's terrible and shouldn't see as much usage as he does. I've also never been impressed by Claydol, but at least Claydol has a really good movepool, even if he doesn't have the stats or typing to back it up.
  3. UU Sun~~~

Unless I'm really mistaken here speed boost doesn't activate on switchin. Under the sun with Timid, Exegg hits 449, after 1 speed boost Yanmega hits 433 unless he's also Timid, meaning Yanmega can't switch into Exegg and outspeed (Unless sun fades). This is the main reason to use Timid instead...
  4. UU Sun~~~

I've played around with Registeel in Steelixes slot, and while I agree he does a much better job at walling in general and Yanmega in particular, I found he generally did a better job of stalling out my own sun and giving people oppurtunities to set up during weather breaks (all weather teams...
  5. UU Sun~~~

Here we go~ This is an offencively-based UU sun team that I've been playing over the past few months under the name Princess Of Autumn. It's gotten to the point where I feel it's RMT-worthy, so let's get started~ "Les Miserables" Sunny Lead: Mismagius @ Heat Rock Levitate EVs: 252 HP/252...
  6. Rain or sun? Which is more broken?

Why would you make another thread on this topic, there's still one on the front page :x
  7. np: UU - Higher Ground

Fire/Grass is totally walled by Moltres, Arcanine, Altaria, and Houndoom himself. Ninetails is slightly bulkier but both are already very frail and with SR weaknesses and life orb, its hard to argue that the extra bulk is worth that much when their lifespans are so short. Losing coverage and...
  8. Smogon Shoddy Server Statistics - July 2009

The only useful things Pory2 can trace are Speed Boost(Useless since Yanmega is already faster) Chlorophyll/Swift Swim(A lot of Rain/Sun sweepers are faster anyway) Intimidate(Hitmontop/Arcanine) Flash Fire (Arcanine/Houndoom) Arena Trap Volt Absorb(Lanturn) Ironically most of the useful trace...
  9. np: UU - Higher Ground

I've been using a Houndoom on my Sun team. Houndoom @ Shed Shell Flash Fire 252 Spd/252 SpA/4 Hp Timid -Fire Blast -Solar Beam -HP: Rock -Nasty Plot The shed shell is there largely because it gives me a free SD with Tangrowth, if Houndoom kills something and Dugtrio doesn't come in then...
  10. The Uber Metagame: a Fun "Change of Pace"

People say this about every tier, and also about doubles. I don't think it convinces anybody though.
  11. New UU List (July 2009)

Yes this is why sub/CM Missy is best used as a late game sweeper. If you run Tbolt/Shadow Ball its probably because your team has no problems with Steelix. Besides Steelix is hardly a pokemon that typically sits in the back of your roster until late game. If you're one of the 25% that run...
  12. New UU List (July 2009)

Some Steelixes pack Crunch for Missy and other floating pokemon wanting to come in on an EQ. Steelix obviously can't switch into her without getting decimated though.
  13. UU Voters

I am fairly sure not using one of them doesn't necessarily disqualify you, I never used any of the three (although using none of them will probably disqualify you (me) )
  14. UU Voters

    Confirming as Aerouille ^_^
  15. np: UU - Here It Goes Again

Clearly I am the first on the list because I am the best. Xumaroo, pick it up man, you barely made the cut
