I can't remember any true (oldschool) epic-win moments, but I personally enjoyed my battle tower moments in Platinum. Mainly a Choice Band Infernape OHKO'ing Slaking, Umbreon, and most notably Tycoon's Regigigas, with Close Combat. I felt accomplished.
