Retaliate will still do the same amount of damage after a ko, as if something on your team had never gone down the turn before. Example: http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou12898398 Slaking was Scarfed, but it has a wooping base 160 Atk stat. Doesn't make much sense to me.

The point of the game is to enjoy it and do your best. If you fail, then you learn something. If you win, then you win. But the most important part of this game is to enjoy it. If you're not having fun playing it, why do you even bother? Get over it son, you know I'm right, you got nothing on me.
