Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
There is already a specs mence set. This one looks like the set is limiting to what it can do. Roar will make you go last. Allowing Blissey to send an ice beam or status you. Roost on the other hand can only "stall."
To Aki:
When Lucario or my physical sweepers die, they can get walled by Blissey with ease. I have run into this problem one too many times. Specs allows me to use one move enabling my opponent to switch a pokemon that can resist it and set up on me. I have run Chomp sets many times. Bulkchomp...
Gengar (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 86 Atk/252 Spd/172 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

A decent counter, to many pokemon. Explode on BLissey's face when they switch her in. Thunderbolt for gyaras. Hidden Power for dragons...
True Rampardos is excellent in Trick room, but on occassions it may be brought down. Many sweepers(AKA Garchomp) or Rhyperior may come. The pokemon was just an example. I know Feraligatr can sweep, but how effective against others? Anyways I can not debate now. School is pulling me away.
There are far batter pokemon to use than Feraligatr and a few others. They might work, but then again they may not most of the time. May I suggest the Overused garchomp for a place here? Having a taunter is really helpful. Rampardos is almost a joke to use in competitive battling. X-Speed is...
Some sand teams do not require sand proof pokemon you know. There are a couple that can be useful for this. Hm a blissey(yeah hated) can fit in or maybe a wall like Weezing? Just a suggestion.
Stall teams in my battles are now having a tie with rivaling teams lately. Taunters are finally appearing. Bulky pokemon are becoming more used as well. So in your intelligent opinion what is probably the best team to use against the majority of these forgotten foes that are now rising to the...
Even the other sites talk about Obi. That stall strategy must be good if it is talked about outside smogon. I'll try stall team later as you said they are effective and excellent. Still won't this overcentralize the battling?
I was recently in another few websites when I noticed there have been an increase in the usage of stall teams and defense teams. I heard that even the mightiest sweepers will have a huge dent in them. All I am saying is will sweeping pokemon never be used much in this generation?
All right, basically you team it up with dialga. Make Rayquaza use protect , while your dialga sets up trick room. Then sweep them. rayquaza's lowest speed is 175 lowered to 87.5. I do not know how much damage it can do with that abyssmal speed. But you will most likely face an oppposing...
