Are Steel Types immune to the Poison status or just Poison type moves? For example, IF there was a move that Poisoned the target but the move was not Poison type, would it work on a Steel type? Also, do Toxic Orbs work on Steel types?

Yes, however the bug could only occur in certain situations, not necessarily EVERY time a move is used against a Pokemon that is Flying. Knowing the moves that hit it and the users of said moves is important.

You may be right... It still is pretty useful though, having a powerful Fighting move is still really useful, plus it gets really nice coverage. I suppose the better revenge killer would be Scarf Typhlosion?
