how could it be tested if there is no pure flying type currently in the game unless you hacked into the game and made a pure flying type and tested it but then it wouldnt be legit.

only real reason they might of not added it this gen is because of roost. think about it: if a pure flying pokemon uses roost it would become typeless (ie same type as struggle ) which seems a little hard to do and if it was a pure flying pokemon was put in we might as welll demand some typeless...

i find that vire pairs really nicely with a krissy floatzel lead (with the electric berry) who then can pass ~2 bulk ups and a vire boost if there dumb enough to keep using electric attacks
