  1. Gen 6 Simple Questions, Simple Answers (XY Ubers Edition - read before posting a thread)

What do you think of Tailwind on Ho-oh? (Tailwind/Brave Bird/Sacred Fire/Roost) I've beat several scarf kyogre switch-ins and in general if I'm slower I use tailwind first before any attack.
  2. Ubers Arceus-Electric

What would arceus miss out on by running focus blast over ice beam (besides ground types that you don't want to fight anyway)? It seems that most things arceus can't hit super-effectively with judgement will already be a problem for it even with the beam slapped on (dialga, ferrothorn...

Thanks you so much! I never imagined Giratina-O making my team, but now you mention it it's incredible... I used to use Cloyster, which could wreck hard, but simply wasn't consistent enough.
  4. Ask an Uber Question, Get an Uber Answer (Read FAQs in First Post Before Asking)

Sorry if you misunderstood; I didn't mean my pokemon weren't statwise bulky, but I meant my spreads weren't bulky. I.E. My groudon is 2HKO'd by plenty of things because I'm not investing in defense. As someone who's "main tier" is ubers, you should know that anything that doesn't run a bulky...

Can somebody give me a good pivot for a hyper offensive team? I have Deoxys-S, Groudon, Kyogre, Palkia, and Arceus, none of which are bulky. I know it's hyper offensive, but I realized I was constantly sacrificing things to a bad switch.
  6. Pragmatic (Weatherless Balance, Peaked top 100)

Love your team! May I ask why garchomp is naive? Jolly seems like a harmless substitute.
  7. Pair 'o Hax

After playing around with Sun teams, Sand teams, and Rain teams, I summed up my two most favorite things: Thunder Wave and Shaymin-Sky form. At first I thought I was simply getting lucky with this team, but after taking this team to a 19:3 win/loss record I thought I'd put it up for some...
  8. Water Arceus on Sun Team

If the weather war is won or the opponent runs no weather, I can usually win with some powerful STAB Ho-oh/Blaziken. I have yet to see a match where Arceus is my last mon and working under the sun... although I may switch refresh out for thunder/thunderbolt since I've never had to use it...
  9. Water Arceus on Sun Team

(this is my first post, so go easy on me!) With Kyogre holding the title of most used weather inducer in Uber, making a sun team can be hard with all the rain interference. But with a solid sun core backed with a water arceus, a seemingly counterintuitive team can be just the thing to crush...
