  1. Pokémon Azumarill

I'm actually tempted to run both along with Waterfall and Superpower. Aqua Jet's priority will be missed, but having access to a versatile moveset might be able to break even if OHKOs can be avoided. alexwolf EDIT: Removed the part about using Ice Punch as Rough Play is 100% superior
  2. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

I noticed that Quagsire's OU entry says that "Ice Punch is great against Dragon- and Grass-types, but is illegal with Unaware." While that was true in BW, the move tutors in BW2 make it possible to teach Ice Punch to any Quagsire, regardless of what its ability is. Shouldn't Quaggy's page be...
  3. Serperior Discussion

...So that Serperior I got that has Contrary is actually an illegal Poke?
  4. Serperior Discussion

I've been working on a set made for sweeping that plays off of Contrary: EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/4 HP Nature: Timid Item: Life Orb/Leftovers * Leaf Storm * HP Fire/HP Ice * Giga Drain/Leech Seed * Substitute Leaf Storm is the obvious STAB choice for a Contrary set due to the +2 SpA with each...
  5. Ask a Simple Question Get a Simple Answer - RU Edition

Not really a fan of the "only Status moves" setup Whimsicott tends to run. While it's good for support or crippling the opponent, it won't do s*** against Grass types unless you can somehow stall them long enough to make them Struggle (which is something I want to avoid in case Whimsi ends up...
  6. Ask a Simple Question Get a Simple Answer - RU Edition

I'm tempted to try running a Whimsicott built for being a physical wall. Obviously, Cotton Guard will be needed for the set, as well as either Giga Drain or Leech Seed (probably Leech Seed) for recovery. For Nature and EVs, I'm thinking of Bold with 252 Def (not sure about the other 258 EVs)...
  7. Zoroark discussion

Actually, I think TP can make Zoroark more useable. True, you're more likely to successfully trick the opponent without TP available, but when they know you have Zoro they're forced to gamble on whether or not you've just sent him out. If it looks like you sent out a Machamp, they have to...
  8. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

...I got the PP and BP mixed up when I checked that move. /facepalm As for the weather issue, a Damp Rock team was already what I'd intended to run, but it wouldn't necessarily "abuse" Swift Swim (maybe 2 of the Pokemon on the team). The Sunny Day team was my main concern because I want to be...
  9. Ask a Simple Question; Get a Simple Answer & General Resources (OU Edition)

Is it viable to run Sun/Rain teams without Groudon, Kyogre, Ninetails or Politoed? I'm asking because I want to try running a non-sandstorm/hail weather team, but I have virtually no access to both DW Pokemon and trading opportunities to get DW Pokemon. That, I don't care for Politoed, and I...
  10. Kevin! Durant discussion.

The average ant species can lift ~50 times their weight with no issue. They also become absolutely terrifying when made into Pokemon. I doubt they'd give him access to EdgeQuake or any of the stronger moves that Steel-types tend to get; he doesn't exactly need that much extra power.
  11. Rampardos

I can really see Rock Slide being used more than Stone Edge on Sheer Force sets. After factoring in the SF boost, it has an effective BP of 97.5 (146.25 with STAB). It ends up being just under 4 points weaker than Stone Edge, with 10% more accuracy. Also, should there be a mention of...
  12. Creative (and good) Movesets (READ THE OP FIRST)

"Death of 1000 Cuts" Shuckle w/ Binding Band/Leftovers Sturdy Careful Nature EVs: 252 HP, (split the other 258 between Def and Sp. Def) -Wrap -Sand Tomb -Toxic/Rest -Power Split Power Split kills the opponent's damage output, making Shuckle even harder to kill than it already is. Since...
  13. Exploud

Is "Troll" even a real move?
  14. Feraligatr

The only one that can pass on a DW ability is the mother. So you could easily get a male 'Gatr with those moves and breed him with a Sheer Force female to get the moves and ability you want.
  15. Blaziken

Hopefully they'll add move tutors in the next Gen V game. TPunch would be a nice addition for guys he can't get a SE hit on right now.
