  1. Gyarados (Analysis)

    Thanks Chou!
  2. Gyarados (Analysis)

I've implemented most of the changes Tobes suggested, and I also fixed the formating errors with Other Options, Team Options, and Checks and Counters. If QC wants the sets mentioned after this analysis was approved to be included, I will gladly oblige.
  3. Gyarados (Analysis)

Bump now that this is written.
  4. Gyarados (Analysis)

Sorry that this hasn't been touched forever, I'll edit in everyone's suggestions now. Will begin the prose write-up.
  5. My first RMT. (5th Gen DW OU)

I realized that you gave Salamence Overconfidence over Intimidate. I highly advise against such a play because Outrage is just so much more powerful than Dragon Claw. In fact, a +1 Outrage is actually stronger than a +2 Dragon Claw. Besides, Intimidate is really helpful for setting up on...
  6. My first RMT. (5th Gen DW OU)

Your team suffers from a lack of Stealth Rock. While it may seem that rocks are not nearly as omnipresent this generation, they are still prevalent among almost all the good battlers. Right now, Nattorei is trying to do too many things at once, and no decent opponent will let it just sit there...
  7. Ask a Simple Question, Get a Simple Answer - Read FAQ in First Post Before Asking

Is there anywhere that I can find a comprehensive list of released DW Pokemon? THe one made by skarm hasn't been updated since november...
  8. Gyarados

Let's all stop using Gyarados to sweep and instead use it as a Sleep Talker. Nattorei makes for an excellent partner for Gyarados, resisting it's weaknesses in Electric- and Rock-type attacks while Gyarados resists Fire- and Fighting-type attacks.
  9. Nidoking (Analysis)

Yes, Sludge Wave would be a better choice than Sludge Bomb. I'd still keep Fire Blast to roast Nattorei though.
  10. Nidoking (Analysis)

Nidoking is kinda like Heatran in that it is powerful but rather slow. Why not try a scarf set? [SET] Name: Choice Scarf Move 1: Earth Power Move 2: Thunderbolt Move 3: Ice Beam Move 4: Fire Blast / Sludge Bomb Item: Choice Scarf Ability: Sheer Force Nature: Timid EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252...
  11. Gyarados (Analysis)

Sorry for the long delay, but I've changed around Dragon Tail and Roar (even though I personally still prefer the former), added mentions of Porygon-2, and included more mentions of Rotom-W in the Counters section.
  12. Gyarados (Analysis)

Apologies for the carelessness, a Counters section has been added.
  13. Gyarados (Analysis)

Thanks for the help, everyone. Darkmalice, I've incorporated all of your advice into the skeleton. Do I need a counters section? I ctrl-v'd the format from the Zekrom thread, so most of the counters business is integrated in the sets themselves.
  14. Landorus

Something with such high speed, power, and coverage like Randorosu forces a ton of switches. With that in mind, I've been trying a Substitute Swords Dance with relative success. Jolly @ Leftovers 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe - Substitute - Swords Dance - Stone Edge - Earthquake In the early...
  15. Dream a Little Dream World - OU RMT

Um... no. Starmie's Hydro Pump is its strongest attack and Water is a much more reliable STAB than Psychic. If anything should be replaced with Rapid Spin, it should be Psychic. The only thing you're going to hit hard with it is Roobushin, and you're already doing a ton to it with STAB Hydro...
