  1. Blaziken

I've always liked this idea. Zoroark destroys a lot of the top Blaziken switchins with his dark STABs and can pursuit them on their way out.
  2. Blaziken

Blaziken isn't tailored to take any hits in the first place. The thing is, there are only a choice few walls that can switch into a LO boosted (no SD even) attack from Blaziken and then take ANOTHER hit and get rid of him afterwards. The only ghosts that Blaziken even cares about are Burunkeru...
  3. Blaziken

Only reliable way to stop him is with a Slowbro or similar since he decimates a lot of other bulky things in 2 hits (without a SD boost) removing a lot of possible switch-ins. He's also one of the few Pokemon this gen that can stop his own revenge kill by protecting and getting the extra speed...
  4. Gyarados

Honestly, this gen is more offensive than last gen and runs a couple more glass cannons. Even in Gen 4, Bulky DD Gyara with Leftovers and 72 or so attack EVs functions well after one DD. The problem with Gyara this gen is how easy it is to revenge kill.
  5. Chandelure

And proceeds to fail to OHKO Shanderaa when it stays in (even with no bulk investment), gets burned or HP fighting'd, and Shanderaa has taken out 2 Pokemon (a burned TTar is utterly useless, especially with a scarf) since it is in the process of being revenge killed. A Pokemon that can almost...
  6. Blissey

Another low point about Blissey with Shed Shell is that if people are going to be so predictable about how they use it (which they will have to be, you can't just throw ANYTHING in on Shanderaa and have it be trapped) it's going to be even easier to screw up the opponent. Oh look, that Blissey...
  7. Blissey

Uh... what? I can't even make sense of this. What deems 3 on 3 random WiFi with a lot of limitations as the meta...?
  8. Blissey

People were suggesting Shed Shell on Bliss to partner it with ScarfTar, which just doesn't work out. To truly deal with Shanderaa, Blissey has to dedicate a moveslot or two to HP Ground/Shadow Ball and optimally Psych Up. There isn't a better way around it.
  9. Blissey

EXACTLY! This is what I was trying to get at with Shanderaa being bulky enough to take what almost equals out to a neutral hitting 120 physical attack off of 140 attack. Scarftar does not threaten Shanderaa at all.
  10. Blissey

Especially what with ScarfTar not actually being as big of a threat as some people think it is to quite a few Shanderaa sets.
  11. Chandelure

So he was facing a moron trying to use CM Shanderaa and utterly failing by not using Sub first?
  12. Blissey

Random WiFi prohibits a lot of random stuff and is not relevant, as you can use whatever you want on FC WiFi.
  13. Blissey

Yea, we went off track. I was more of saying that Shed Shell isn't the answer to Blissey's problem with Shanderaa, as the suggested SS Blissey + ScarfTar combo doesn't work out as well as the one who suggested it thought.
  14. Blissey

Not banded, Scarfed Hihidaruma. Clarified that to show that it wasn't orb'd or banded. My point is, Scarftar can't hurt Shanderaa with Pursuit as much as the hit it was able to tank.
  15. Blissey

How much does Encourage boost? If it's a 1.5 boost like initially speculated, even a resisted FB in those conditions packs a ridiculous punch. Remember that this was in the sun.
