@Misdreavus & voodoo pimp: I am using diamond and is about 15 steps inside the cave of victory road (the bridge). I saved the game at the location so I don't need to move once I am in the game. Could it be that I have to move my character before using sweet scent?

If I use sweet scent and it returns no wild pokemon, does it mean that I got the wrong delay?

Thanks I read your detailed guide. But I must have done something wrong since it didn't work. In step 2, it says once I am in game I can start hunting and in step 3 I have to verify my seed. So does that mean I catch the first pokemon I encounter and then go to my coin flipper and verify?

What are you trying to capture\hatch? Hatch perfect pokemon in 4th gen What is your target seed and frame? What is the delay of that seed? It failed before I can find out. How did you verify your seed? Failed If you tried and failed, what results did you get? The "find seed by stats" tab...
