  1. Announcement np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 3 - Sleepwalking

Maybe at +2 from something like Iron Valiant, but those are pretty respectable defenses for an offensive threat.
  2. Metagame SV OU Metagame Discussion

It's Smogon. If there is something they like, such as a good defensive pokemon or weather wars from Gen V, they will go out of there way to make sure it stays.
  3. Metagame SV OU Metagame Discussion

Smogon trying really hard to make stall the go to strat again. Record number of unaware pokemon in the tier, ban anything that makes the fat walls cry. If defensive pokemon can't just block everything, lets see what's the next offensive pokmon in the tier to be banned. A wall that has access...
  4. Announcement np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 2 - Munch

Another day, another suspect of an offensive threat that Toxapex can't beat. I haven't seen many, and the ones I do see have aren't any more threatening that anything else that can set up and sweep.
  5. Announcement np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 1 - Oops!...I Did It Again

Dragapult with ghost is not that strong. Certainly not what's pushing it. Moon is strong but slightly overratred. Esparthra has a lot of answers and is more busted because of shed tail, and Ape is absolutely busto even without tera typing.
  6. Announcement np: SV OU Suspect Process, Round 1 - Oops!...I Did It Again

I am not going to get recs because as much as I enjoy pokemon, I just don't understand how to get better past like 1400. But from what I have seen in my games, and watching higher tier games, tera is not the biggest issue plaguing games that I have seen. Gholdengo and/or hazard stacking, shed...
  7. Metagame SV OU Metagame Discussion

I am actually really enjoying terra, and picking weird times to screw with people on the ladder. Haven't really looked hard at a meta since the mess that was gen V, but I am optimistic for this one. The Ruination legends seem really strong, and I find them personally annoying, but nothing seems...
  8. SM UU Pokemon UU-sed to be fun...Aerodactyl Balance

I took it for a spin and liked your team. Always loved UU since 5th gen. Gardevoir can usually be punched with Mega Aero, but I found Weaviles to be a psuedo issue for this team. For starters, four of your pokes are ice weak and slowbro is weak to dark. If scizor has taken any damage, it can be...
  9. 101 Signs You Need Help in UU

Sign #3: You are using no rapid spinner/Xatu + SR weak pokemon The amount of times I have just dominated a match with an early SR, knowing the opponent could do nothing about it are too countless to recall. The worse offender ran a yanmega, and every other poke was SR neutral.
  10. np: UU Stage 9 - Welcome Home

I am sad, I keep trying to ladder with my acc Glalie, and when I think I am doing decently, the ladder resets ><. On topic: What do you guys think of Raikou? He is almost always a star in every match I go against (running the standard CM/Sub). It isn't even the fact that I get a sub and CM up...
  11. np: UU Stage 5 - Every Rose Has Its Thorns

Kabutops does have the one good thing of a strong attack stat, making certain ghosts hesitant to switch in. @Tm13: In addition to what SJ said, I just meant the one good thing about Claydol: his bulk and resists are undermined by weaknesses to really common attack types, and lack of recovery.
  12. np: UU Stage 5 - Every Rose Has Its Thorns

I take it the lack of other responses in a while implies that the meta is pretty balanced, save for the issue of spikes/roserade. I also forgot who posted it, but Kabutops is a really nice spinner. His attack is threatening enough were certain ghosts will not like switching in, and even roserade...
  13. Killing Birds: The Options

Swellow also gets pursuit I believe.
  14. np: UU Stage 5 - Every Rose Has Its Thorns

The problem I have with spikes of the moment is basically the fundamental of how easy it is to set-up. Essentially, the matches I have been winning (and losing) have been nothing more than a giant masturbating contest to see who can get off first. Especially since stall really can't hold its...
  15. np: UU Stage 5 - Every Rose Has Its Thorns

And how do you figure that exactly? I don't disagree that spikes is not the problem, but there is a clear overbearing advantage to getting hazards up vs spinning them away. My team currently is dealing with spikes decently, but then, I have a rapid spinner and 3 levitators...=/
