  1. Smogon Tour X

    Sounds like a blast.
  2. Announcing Smogon Tour - Season Nine!

This should be awesome. Hopefully I'll be allowed to participate. :) But first, I'll need to practice some UU and Ubers lol.
  3. Dragon Force (My ST6 team)

I'd have to agree with the above comment. If you're looking to abuse dragons, then Latias is one of the most dangerous dragons in the game. Also, Magnezone would help you out a lot. It could come in and destroy any steels that stand in your way, allowing for you to actually spam Outrage.
  4. I love being different (OU/ UU/ NU RMT)

I think there are more effective ways to be "different," but to each his own I suppose. I also agree that a Rotom would prove useful over Jynx, as ghost pokemon are great at forcing switches. Furthermore, with Machamp serving as more of a wall, you should consider replacing Revenge with...
  5. Team Ethics

I have always created my own teams. I think you develop your own style much more efficiently if you do things the way you want. Taking other peoples' teams doesn't really give you the same satisfaction when you win. Shortcuts won't help you here. It is only beneficial if you're doing it to...
  6. Team preferences

I play a mixture of HO and bulky offense. It's difficult to classify which one I actually am. Offense is my preferred style of play as it is far more quick paced and it requires a lot of long term planning. Plus it gives me a chance to use some of my favorite Pokemon. :D
  7. No Newfags, only Oldies

You should give substitute a shot on Machamp. It can come in and force a lot things out and then hit the next Pokemon with whatever attack deemed necessary. Machamp is also fairly bulky.
  8. Heavy Hitters [OU RMT]

I think another thing you should be wary of is that you wanted to build a team around a Dragonite (scarfed at that) without a way to remove stealth rocks. I believe a Life Orb 3 attack + rapid spin Starmie could work well in place of Empoleon.
  9. Empoleon Wi-Fi RMT

I've been using Empoleon for basically my entire career (on serious teams anyways) and I've found that toxic spikes don't really aid him as much as you'd like. Empoleon withers itself down to 25% (usually 18 because of rocks, or even lower) to set up and thus all it takes is for someone to...
  10. Salamence - The Face of The Next Suspect, or Merely OU's Strongest Dragon?

A +1, sure. Salamence doesn't exactly have a ton of room to come in and set up easily because of it's frailty. Assuming the steel swaps into the outrage, instead of coming in after the first one. Scizor, any magnezone, metagross, lucario, empoleon, jirachi and select heatran sets come in...
  11. Salamence - The Face of The Next Suspect, or Merely OU's Strongest Dragon?

Life Orb Salamence is wrecked by the most commonly used Pokemon in the metagame. Salamence is fragile, sports a stealth rock weakness, and is destroyed by thunder wave. Outrage is "please come in, steel types." "Oh, but if you set it up to eliminate steels, he'll be fine." Except you can...
  12. Blissey

The metagame revolves around physical threats more than special threats. Blissey walls the lesser half of the attacking spectrum. The Salamence ban would be retarded TBH. I wasn't around during the Garchomp era, so I do not know how powerful he was, but Salamence is very easily checked and...
  13. Bulky Offense

Firstly, I think Salamence should be running naive nature. It loses some very important speed otherwise, as its primary objective is wall breaking and to create as big of a dent as possible in the opposing team. Overall, I think the main problem is you seem to be picking a bunch of solid...
  14. Blissey

I think that criteria such as "enjoyable" should be omitted when discussing something like this. It's a relative term. A stall player would look at Blissey and say they love it in the metagame and its removal would make it entirely less fun. The same vice versa, a hyper-offense team would love...
  15. The Forgotten Pastime: An OU RMT

I don't think a spinner is something that should be a priority to you. Vaporeon is the only one that truly hates toxic spikes, as Celebi is just going to switch out. If it happens to be the final Pokemon, Celebi isn't going to out-stall the other team anyways. Forretress could really put you in...
