Hi, and welcome to Smogon! Arcticblast let me know you were interested in getting involved with The Smog, and if you're serious about that, I (and of course the other Smog mentors) would love to work with you. :D There's always a place for writers, artists, and editors. It's great to see someone new expressing interest in getting involved :3

Welcome to Smogon! I'm Arcticblast, an official Smogon Mentor and three-time writer for The Smog (if you count the upcoming issue!). If you'd like to learn more about The Smog, contact user jumpluff, who's pretty much second in command there. In addition, you might want to head over to #mentor on SynIRC, where you can talk to other Smogon Mentors, most of whom can give you a great deal of competitive battling knowledge and many of whom are fellow contributors to The Smog. I'd help you with competitive battling, but outside of the Other Metagames section I'm a bit on the mediocre side :\
