I'll answer your question here since it isn't specifically an RMT question. You typically want to lead with whatever gives you an edge against the opposing teams. ORAS UU isn't a metagame that runs dedicated leads. I recommend against leading with defensive Pokemon unless its Swampert (to get rocks up quickly), but it all depends on what you think your opponent will lead with.
