Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Nice team! I'v fiddled with Dark spam myself and have also ditched Bisharp in favour of Crawdaunt. I think you're the sole person behind this new Crawdaunt fad we're currently having :)
Thanks for these, Ruft. Now I'm a piss-poor player, but in my opinion these replay show why Avalugg should not be used in a serious team rather than the other way around. In replay 1) we can see how Avalugg is utterly defeated by Ferrothorn, losing a ton to Rapid Spin and being forced out by...
Ah yes I suppose Body Press makes sense, indeed. Still, I'm not sold on Avalugg being ranked at all. Have people seen it thrown around in any high-level ladder, or tournament game?
What's your fourth move on Avalugg anyway? Recover, Rapid Spin, Avalanche...no reason to not pick Earthquake, right? Note that Jolly banded Weavile has almost no chance to 2HKO with Low Kick though.
But all of this is theorymoning, right? Is there a replay of Avalugg doing something meaningful...
Choice band Dragonite appreciates Inner Focus as its ability, since it can't really benefit from HDB or Roost anyway, and that prevents Lando-T's Intimidate from checking it.
I'm not sold on Scarf Latias, it has a much much worse matchup versus Tapu Lele than Jirachi, and walling Lele is one of the primary roles of that Jirachi.
Awesome team! Like AndViet, I admire how you've solved the Blissey conundrum - remove Seismic Toss ad suddenly there's no 4MSS. Your lack...
How come you beat Magnezone with just lefties? If it comes in during a turn where you used Spikes, or through a U-turn, then it outspeeds and beats you, doesn't it? Chople berry wins this match-up in all situations.
Fair point about the leftovers and Knock off.
For dealing with Rillaboom, they...
Really nice team. Well done for bringing back Tyranitar to where it belongs.
About the spread for Dragapult, I've been thinking about the same issue Son of Veez had, and I agree it cuts down on power too much. But you could always move the 4 SpDef EVs into Def, just for the sake of it.
I have...
Earthquake is also valuable on Buzzwole because it provides it with a non-contact move. That way it can pick off weakened Ferros, Garchomps, Rocky Helmet stuff, etc. etc. without fear. It's annoying that Buzzwole only runs contact moves otherwise.
Why did every Pokémon not mentioned in the previous question rise/fall? Why did every Pokémon not appearing in the update slate not change?
Just kidding. I'm surprised to see Seismitoad having risen. What does it offer that Gastrodon does not already provide, apart from Stealth Rock? And it...
I hate hate Lando-T, so I'm using different grounds. Excadrill is a nice one. It completely shuts down Tapu Koko, and with Toxic it also makes progress against incoming Zapdos/Slowbro/Buzzwole. Rapid Spin is great on spikes team where removing your own hazards is annoying. Its 4x resistance to...
Heatran is a huge lover of Grassy Terrain, and it completely checks Rillaboom's or Tapu Bulu's weaknesses too. In such a team an Assault Vest Heatran could do the trick...but in such a team, Leftovers Heatran heals so much at each turn that it does not need the Assault Vest anymore. In addition...

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I've been around for quite a while, started competitive Pokémon back in 4G...
Is your standard for deeming a Pokemon S needing an excuse not to include it in one's team? I thought that was the S+ rank, as per the Primal Groudon days in ORAS Ubers. So far, Lando-T is not S+ (and I don't think it should), so I don't think having to ponder "why am I not picking Heatran in...
