  1. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 4 - Blaze of Glory

If Giratina was brought down to OU, it would be used with Ferrothorn as the new defensive core, and then one (or both) of them would just be banned (again). Not that I'd be opposed to a test, but even if it did work out, I'm sure that we'd be right back here soon enough. @JT_Swift Cresselia...

The Klink line and Ferroseed are there too, although Ferroseed is only in Chargestone.

@Elite_Trainer_U I would say just go with an Eviolite set, because Vulpix won't be killing much anyway. Vulpix @ Eviolite Calm 252 HP/ 176 Def/ 80 SpD (or something like that) Will-o-Wisp Protect Fire Blast Hypnosis/ Toxic/ Safeguard/ Roar It really only needs to be able to show up on the...
  4. Lickilicky

I want the weather gone, that's exactly why I'm not using a rock. :P After trying the set out, it worked pretty well for the most part. I never had a problem getting rid of Toed or Tails and setting up Sand, so it actually does what it's supposed to, but after that it's going to be walled by...

Apparently my experience last gen was significantly different than other people's...
  6. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 4 - Blaze of Glory

I'm just saying it does happen, and I've seen it frequently enough that I'm caution about it. Not anywhere nearly as common as it is now. I saw HP Fire on either maybe twice all of last gen, now it's on basically every set.

Ferrothorn often carries T-Wave, which cripples all of those except for Chomp though. It's not the most common, but it's used enough that you need to be aware of it. Completely agree here. Getting rid of Ferrothorn would lead to Latios being banned quicker (not to mention others most likely)...

If I were to breed a Female Cloud Nine Lickylicky with Sleep Talk and a compatible Male Pokemon with Sleep Talk, would the baby have Sleep Talk as well? Also (and this is a pretty n00b question), to be able to breed an Encourage Nidoking, I would want to use something from the Nidoqueen line...
  9. Gen V Initial UU

Chansey, Suicune, and Nidoking UU? At least BL.

    Oh wow. | 64 | Donphan | 16148 | 2.6945 | | 74 | Suicune | 13942 | 2.3264 | I didn't think anyone liked Donphan, but I was sure more people liked (and used) Suicune.

T-Tar's usage along with some other Pokemon though, specifically Excadrill, as it really has no use outside of Sand, does say a bit about Sand's impact. Regardless, Sand is going to be in at least 1/5 of matches people are going to play in, so that by itself is pretty significant.
  12. Smogon University PO Statistics — April 2011

Disagreed. Only 3 of the top 10 are new Pokemon (I guess you could argue over Gliscor and Rotom-W though with the new ability/ typing for them, respectively, but even then it's not a majority). It seems to me most of the Pokemon in what looks to be OU (top 53) are older Pokemon, and from my...

To each his own I guess. I prefer having passive recovery and being able to attack.
  14. Smogon University PO Statistics — April 2011

    Leftovers recovery is pretty significant.

Take the Pokemon that is infected with Pokerus into battle, battling something, and the Pokemon adjacent to the infect Pokemon have a chance to contract Pokerus as well. The Pokemon with Pokerus does not have to be the one battling fyi.
