    [OVERVIEW]

    * Pheromosa's niche comes from its impressive Speed, decent mixed offenses, and useful Bug/Fighting typing.
    * As the fastest Pokemon in the Balanced Hackmons metagame besides Deoxys-Speed, Pheromosa is able to hit fast, frail opponents like Mega Mewtwo Y before they hit back.
    * Additionally, it can come in on defensive Pokemon such as Registeel and Mega Gyarados and threaten to KO them with the appropriate STAB move.
    * Because of this, Pheromosa forces lots of switches, enabling it to break walls or gain momentum with the proper prediction.
    * However, Pheromosa brings almost no defensive utility to the team, and slow pivoting is required to get it in safely.
    * Pheromosa's power is also fairly underwhelming, even if it's set up, unless it's hitting with a super effective move.

    [SET]
    name: Stakeout
    move 1: U-turn
    move 2: Close Combat
    move 3: Draco Meteor
    move 4: Sunsteel Strike / Judgment
    item: Expert Belt / Sky Plate
    ability: Stakeout
    nature: Naive
    evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

    [SET COMMENTS]
    Moves
    ========

    * U-turn is used to deal over 60% damage to Mega Mewtwo Y, OHKO Deoxys-A, and gain momentum on forced switches.
    * Close Combat is the more powerful of Pheromosa's STAB moves. It's powerful enough to easily threaten out foes such as Mega Tyranitar and Mega Gyarados, allowing Pheromosa to capitalize on the opportunity.
    * Draco Meteor is chosen to deal lots of damage to common Fur Coat users, including Giratina, Zygarde-C, and Primal Kyogre, on the switch. Fleur Cannon, although it helps Pheromosa beat Fighting-types such as Mega Mewtwo X more easily, leaves it walled by Poison-types like Mega Gengar.
    * Sunsteel Strike is chosen to prevent Fairy-types such as Xerneas, as well as Sturdy Shedinja, from walling Pheromosa.
    * Judgment with a Sky Plate can be used to help Pheromosa imposter-proof itself. It also helps against some foes, such as Mega Mewtwo X.

    Set Details
    ========

    * A Naive nature is necessary to outspeed foes with up to 150 base speed.
    * Expert Belt's power boost, although marginal, is helpful to OHKO Giratina on the switch with Draco Meteor. It is chosen over Life Orb because Pheromosa needs the longevity to consistently break teams.
    * Sky Plate is needed to turn Judgment into a Flying-type move. Imposter users do not usually hold this item, meaning that Pheromosa can outdamage them.

    Usage Tips
    ========

    * Do not hard switch Pheromosa in against even defensive foes, as they will likely pivot out to a check, causing you to lose momentum.
    * Try to get Pheromosa in safely against Pokemon it threatens by using pivot moves.
    * If Pheromosa is up against a nonthreatening Pokemon such as Registeel, try to lure in an opposing Pokemon by using a less obvious move. For example, if you suspect that your opponent will switch to their Giratina, Draco Meteor might be a good choice.

    Team Options
    ========

    * Psychic Surge Mega Mewtwo Y has excellent synergy with Pheromosa. Nearly every Pokemon that resists Psychic is weak to one of Pheromosa's STAB moves, meaning that Pheromosa can get many opportunities to come in and break walls. Additionally, Psychic Terrain helps Pheromosa against foes such as Triage Mega Rayquaza.
    * Slow pivots, like minimum Speed Mega Audino, help in getting Pheromosa into play safely.
    * Eviolite Imposter Chansey is bulky enough to take the majority of strong hits aimed at Pheromosa.
    * If Pheromosa is not running Sky Plate Judgment, options to imposter-proof it include Aegislash and Ho-Oh. Alternatively, the moveset can be tweaked to allow other Pokemon to imposter-proof it; for example, Fleur Cannon can be used in conjunction with SubSeed Normalize Gengar.

    [SET]
    name: Belly Drum Sweeper
    move 1: Belly Drum
    move 2: Close Combat
    move 3: Icicle Crash / Ice Punch
    move 4: Dragon Ascent / Spectral Thief
    item: Normalium Z / Sitrus Berry
    ability: Teravolt / Dazzling / Unburden
    nature: Hasty
    evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe or 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
    ivs: 31 Def or 23 Def

    [SET COMMENTS]
    Moves
    ========

    * Belly Drum is used to increase Pheromosa's Attack stat to +6, immediately making it into a very threatening Pokemon.
    * Close Combat is the primary STAB move of the set, OHKOing even very bulky foes, such as Primal Groudon, at +6.
    * Icicle Crash has an 81.3% chance to OHKO Giratina without any prior damage, and allows Pheromosa to OHKO Zygarde-C as well.
    * Ice Punch, although it misses out on OHKOing Giratina, is more accurate, meaning that it can be used alongside hazard stacking to help Pheromosa sweep more reliably.
    * Dragon Ascent helps Pheromosa OHKO Eviolite Imposter Chansey at +6, and it also OHKOs opponents such as Mega Mewtwo X.
    * Spectral Thief can be used instead to hit uncommon defensive Pokemon like Mega Slowbro.

    Set Details
    ========

    * Normalium Z in combination with Belly Drum enables Pheromosa to set up multiple times per game, meaning that even if its initial sweep attempt fails, it can potentially still help you win.
    * Sitrus Berry is used to give Pheromosa doubled speed on Unburden sets after it uses Belly Drum, allowing it to always outspeed and OHKO Imposter users and rare opponents, such as Choice Scarf Primal Groudon and Deoxys-S. It can also be used alongside Dazzling sets in order to dissuade Imposter users from attempting to revenge kill Pheromosa by bluffing Unburden.
    * Teravolt helps Pheromosa dismantle defensive teams by bypassing problematic abilities such as Fur Coat and Unaware. Due to its already amazing Speed stat, Pheromosa has little need for Unburden, so it can run other abilities viably.
    * Dazzling lets Pheromosa avoid being revenge killed by foes such as Pixilate Mega Diancie and Triage Mega Rayquaza.
    * Unburden is also a viable option to reliably KO Imposter users without relying on a speed tie.
    * A Hasty nature is chosen to help Pheromosa take less damage from Core Enforcer, because Spectral Thief will usually OHKO it anyway. Maximum Speed is necessary to prevent opponents such as Mega Mewtwo Y and Deoxys-A from revenge killing Pheromosa.
    * If Pheromosa is running Spectral Thief over Dragon Ascent, no Defense investment in combination with 23 Defense IVs are necessary to OHKO Imposter with +6 Spectral Thief.

    Usage Tips
    ========

    * Pheromosa lacks the power to break defensive teams without Belly Drum, so it is necessary to set up.
    * Try to use Belly Drum as Pheromosa forces a foe to switch out. Passive opponents like Registeel usually give Pheromosa a free opportunity to set up.
    * Keep in mind that setting up on the first turn Pheromosa is out can backfire sometimes, especially if the opponent knows that Pheromosa has Belly Drum. For example, an opposing Registeel might choose to stay in and use Spectral Thief. Don't use Pheromosa in a predictable way.
    * Even if Pheromosa is at +6, it may be beneficial to switch it out against some foes depending on its ability. For example, Teravolt and Unburden variants should switch out if Triage Mega Rayquaza attempts to revenge kill them; after that, they can potentially still sweep if the Rayquaza is later eliminated by a teammate.

    Team Options
    ========

    * Mega Mewtwo Y can provide Pheromosa with Psychic Surge support. Pheromosa can also set up on the Pokemon that usually switch in on Mega Mewtwo Y, including Registeel and Mega Gyarados.
    * If Pheromosa is running Teravolt, other Belly Drum users appreciate its ability to eliminate Fur Coat and Unaware users.
    * Nuzzle support from defensive Pokemon like Mega Audino can help Pheromosa sets without Unburden consistently outspeed and OHKO Imposter.
    * Unburden variants of Pheromosa appreciate support from hazard setters to get the KOs they need.
    * Make sure to carry a Prankster Haze user that can take Pheromosa's attacks in case opposing Imposter users win the speed tie and KO it. This applies to Unburden variants as well, because there is a high chance it will be hit by Core Enforcer as it sets up.

    [STRATEGY COMMENTS]
    Other Options
    =============

    * Pheromosa can utilize its high Speed stat and decent Special Attack to use a Life Orb Sheer Force set. However, it fails to OHKO Mega Mewtwo Y with Bug Buzz, relies on the inaccurate Focus Blast for STAB, and is largely outclassed by Mega Mewtwo Y in this role as well.
    * Steam Eruption can be used to OHKO Primal Groudon, but Pheromosa usually has no room for the move in its moveset.
    * Shell Smash sets that utilize an anti-priority ability and a Focus Sash are somewhat viable, but they are largely outclassed by Pokemon with higher attacking stats.
    * Pheromosa can use No Guard alongside moves such as Focus Blast and Blizzard to deal damage, but this set accomplishes almost nothing that Pheromosa's other sets don't do already.
    * A Contrary set has a niche in being able to threaten Imposter with moves such as V-Create, Dragon Ascent, and Sky Plate Judgment. However, it lacks initial power compared to Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo Y.

    Checks and Counters
    ===================

    **Bulky Offensive Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Mega Mewtwo X and Primal Groudon can take any of Pheromosa's attacks and OHKO it in return. They lose if Pheromosa has set up with Belly Drum, however.

    **Faster Pokemon**: Pokemon like Choice Scarf Mega Mewtwo Y and Unburden Belly Drum Primal Groudon can easily pick off Pheromosa unless it has a Focus Sash.

    **Priority**: Pheromosa's low defenses make it vulnerable to moves such as Triage Mega Rayquaza's Oblivion Wing and Refrigerate Kyurem-B's FakeSpeed.

    [OVERVIEW]

    * Zekrom has a niche in the Balanced Hackmons metagame as one of the most viable Galvanize users.
    * Additionally, its STAB moves grant very good coverage, largely removing the need for secondary coverage moves.
    * However, Zekrom has a low base Special Attack of 120, meaning that its Galvanize Boomburst is relatively weak.
    * Although Dragon/Electric is a good offensive typing, it leaves Zekrom weak to common moves like Core Enforcer and Thousand Arrows.
    * A mediocre base Speed of 90 leaves Zekrom outsped by many opponents, such as Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Rayquaza.

    [SET]
    name: Galvanize Sweeper
    move 1: Extreme Speed
    move 2: Judgment
    move 3: Boomburst
    move 4: Shell Smash
    item: Draco Plate
    ability: Galvanize
    nature: Lonely
    evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

    [SET COMMENTS]
    Moves
    ========

    * Extreme Speed is useful to revenge kill opponents such as Poison Heal Primal Kyogre. It also serves as a reliable physical STAB move thanks to Galvanize.
    * Judgment in combination with Draco Plate gives Zekrom a strong Dragon-type attack. Since opposing Imposters rarely carry their own Draco Plate, the move makes Zekrom imposter-proof.
    * Boomburst helps Zekrom overcome Fur Coat users such as Primal Kyogre. Galvanize makes it an Electric-type move.
    * Shell Smash shaply boosts Zekrom's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, turning it into a fearsome sweeper.

    Set Details
    ========

    * A Lonely nature helps increase Zekrom's damage output with Extreme Speed while making it less vulnerable to the common Core Enforcer. Mild is another option to boost Zekrom's Boomburst and Judgment.
    * With the Draco Plate item, Zekrom's Judgment is Dragon-type.

    Usage Tips
    ========

    * Keep in mind that Zekrom's Extreme Speed is a useful tool to have; for instance, it can easily pick off a weakened Mega Mewtwo Y.
    * Core Enforcer is Zekrom's biggest weakness, as not only is Zekrom weak to the move, but its Galvanize ability is also suppressed. Keep Zekrom away from Core Enforcer users.
    * Shell Smash can be used to more easily help Zekrom break teams. Without a boost, Zekrom is prediction reliant; however, with a boost, it can OHKO most threatening foes.

    Team Options
    ========

    * Electric Terrain support is very useful for Zekrom, because not only does it strengthen Zekrom's Electric-type attacks, but it also displaces existing Psychic Terrain, allowing Zekrom to freely use Extreme Speed.
    * Fairy-types such as Mega Audino and Mega Diancie can take Core Enforcers aimed at Zekrom and pivot it into battle or break walls, respectively. In return, Zekrom can switch in on resisted Sunsteel Strikes.
    * Physically defensive Water-types, including Fur Coat Primal Kyogre and Mega Slowbro, can switch into the threatening Primal Groudon without stacking a Core Enforcer weakness.
    * Imposter Chansey can scout for threatening moves on opposing Pokemon.

    [SET]
    name: Electric Surge Wallbreaker
    move 1: Bolt Strike
    move 2: Core Enforcer / Judgment
    move 3: Shore Up / Leech Seed / Transform
    move 4: Charge / Growth / Shell Smash
    item: Life Orb / Draco Plate
    ability: Electric Surge
    nature: Naughty
    evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe

    [SET COMMENTS]
    Moves
    ========

    * Bolt Strike is incredibly powerful in Electric Terrain, being able to OHKO foes such as Mega Audino after a boost.
    * Core Enforcer is a useful secondary STAB move that can help against foes like RegenVest Giratina, Poison Heal Regigigas, Sturdy Shedinja, and Fur Coat Primal Kyogre.
    * Judgment in conjunction with a Draco Plate enables Zekrom to imposter-proof itself.
    * Shore Up gives Zekrom much-needed longevity, allowing it to keep fighting even when hit by Core Enforcer.
    * Leech Seed is useful to pressure Imposter users and keep Zekrom healthy.
    * Transform is another recovery option on Draco Plate sets, letting Zekrom restore its HP by transforming into a defensive Pokemon with a recovery move.
    * Charge raises Zekrom's Special Defense and increases the power of Bolt Strike. However, it doesn't stack when used multiple times.
    * Growth raises the power of all of Zekrom's attacks. However, it only gives a +1 boost.
    * Shell Smash increases Zekrom's attacking stats and Speed by two stages, but leaves it vulnerable to Spectral Thief and Core Enforcer.

    Set Details
    ========

    * A Life Orb can be used to make Zekrom's Bolt Strike more powerful in comparison to Draco Plate.
    * Draco Plate makes Judgment into a Dragon-type move for only a Pokemon holding it, meaning that Zekrom can boost its stats without fearing opposing Imposter users.
    * A Naughty nature is used to give Zekrom a better matchup against Poison Heal Regigigas by allowing it to take Facade better. If your team already has a solid Regigigas check, Lonely can be used instead to reduce the damage Zekrom takes from Core Enforcer.

    Usage Tips
    ========

    * Try to get Zekrom in using a slow pivot, as it can easily be forced out by a faster opposing Pokemon.
    * This set is very prediction reliant, because most teams have a Pokemon immune to Dragon or Electric, such as Zygarde-C or Mega Audino. However, these Pokemon usually take tons of damage from Zekrom's other attack.
    * Keep in mind that Zekrom loses a lot of its power if Electric Terrain runs out or is displaced.

    Team Options
    ========

    * If Zekrom is not holding a Draco Plate, a Pokemon such as Misty Surge Giratina, Volt Absorb Mega Audino, or Unaware Ferrothorn is needed to imposter-proof it.
    * Pokemon like RegenVest Solgaleo are useful for handling the faster Pokemon that force out Zekrom.
    * Be aware that many foes can take advantage of forcing out Zekrom by setting up, so a setup check like Prankster Haze Celesteela is a useful partner.

    [STRATEGY COMMENTS]
    Other Options
    =============

    * A Poison Heal set is somewhat viable but struggles against Core Enforcer, effectively taking a massive hit from the move due to the added poison damage.
    * A fully physical set utilizing an ability such as Tough Claws can be useful; however, it's walled by foes such as Fur Coat Giratina.

    Checks and Counters
    ===================

    **Primal Groudon**: Primal Groudon can take even a +2 Draco Plate Judgment from Zekrom and OHKO it in return.

    **Steel-types Resistant to Electric**: Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Dialga and Mega Steelix can wall most variants of Zekrom. Dialga in particular can hit it super effectively in return with a Dragon-type STAB move.
