I agree, every single time I have had a sceptile switch in on me it is OHKO'd by my water type. Twice by Focus Punches by Poliwrath and once by Azumarill CB return. The only niche it has is subseeding and venusaur just makes it irrelevant for most other things.

Mismagius with sub/calm mind, potentially even NP really puts a number on this entire team, easily sets up on regi and lanturn

Poliwrath is common and bulky enough to stop it cold, milotic isn't bad either. Priority wrecks it.

I faced this team earlier, it works tremendously well, but has a pretty huge weakness to rotom, especially sub/charge versions. Once thats gone though its extremely difficult to get past this team.
