Quick Feet does negate the speed drop, like you said, but you still have a 1 in 4 chance to be fully paralyzed which could cost you.

Timid is better because Roserade will never use it's attack, but Naive can work if that's all you have. Edit: What happens if a sleeping Choice Pokemon uses Sleep Talk and wakes up on the next turn? Can it then use the move Sleep Talk selected the previous turn?
